I smile as Mari snuggles closer.

Well I did live in south central London for several years when I was younger Mari. I tease her an give another little reassuring squeeze.

Storm never really scare me Mari....perhaps I do not have enough sense to be scared. Their power and wild nature fascinate me, call to me in some strange way. There is a wildness to nature in their fury that is awe inspiring and seductive..

Was good enough I suppose... Had to work later than I wanted and have to do the same tomorrow. Good thing the kids are spending the night at my parents' house tonight or I would have had to cough up major bucks for a missed pickup.

Hubby's working until midnight tonight so I get to have semi uninterrupted writing time.

Alas, I will have to take a break to battle Ms Michaels and her girls for a bit.

Popping into the Inn, another day down in the books. I head to the bar and pour myself a large ice water and head over to the chairs.

Seeing Mari nestled into a chair, I give her a soft kiss upon her brow and whisper "I'm sorry your day was so bad my honey."

Standing back up, I raise my glass to CG, "Thank you sir, you provided a great service today for a wonderful lady."

I sit in a nearby chair with my water and my dogeared tablet, determined to set Angel behind again.

"Hey trouble!" Spotting his co-writer on her now habitual spot on the couch. "Remember when Summer was fun, and it didn't mean more work and less play?"

I wave "Hey"to dragon in the corner and to any who may be lurking in the shadows.
