Gratefully accepting the smoky golden elixir I take a sip and give a contented sigh.

"Just the ticket CG, thank you. They had T-Bones on sale today, so picked out the biggest one I could find and figured a baked potato and some sauteed mushrooms and onions were just the ticket for a nice September Saturday... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it." :D

A very classic supper H F. Meat on the bone has such a delightful flavor. Chops and steaks on the bone Ummmmmmm.

Belly full and happy, I make my way to the bar for three fingers of the excellent scotch CG poured before. I make my way to the chair by the couches and set to writing... I know there's a WC post in my head somewhere.

I think a classic Martini for me Mari. So what can I tempt you with?

*Groans and heads for the bar, but pours herself a long glass of ice water before flopping onto the sofa to sip at it*

Note to self: Keep great ideas in the virtual realm. Cocktail hangovers are NO fun!

Talking of whom ...

Giving Mari a big hug and a Hollywood kiss... "Hiya honey! How's your weekend going?"

Sorry I missed you ... I had a yen to go out and sample a few 'juices' ... it seemed like a good idea at the time ... but my head is regretting it ...

*sets half empty glass aside then curls up and pulls blanket over her head with a groan*

:rose:

Btw - you DO know that in England WC means water closet i.e. toilet ...?!?!

*ggls then winces remembering she's hung over*

Ouchies ....

Pouring two large mugs of coffee and handing one to Mari to ease her head...

"Well one might argue I do some of my best creative work in both WC's." Smiling and giving her a gentle kiss

"Last month's just didn't click. This month, I've got a scene, but no real story to attach it to."

*hand emerges reading for coffee then a tussled head ... blinks and groans*

Am I up to coffee?

*takes a sip and hesitates*

Ummm.. yup .. think I am ...

*sits up and sips slowly listening to him*

Ok.. only just clicked what you mean by WC ... I had an idea for one of the older ones but didn't get it written up ... and had an idea for this one but ... time flies and it's not really taken shape... besides... I've been busy ...

:rose:

I wander down from my loft and catch a glimpse of Mari as she retreats back into the R W. Time for acoffee and a little writing as I owe a patient miss a post.

Ah I see Miss a tender head is it.

Having been there once or twice my self I bring Mari a tall glass of cool water.

Bottoms up Mari.;)

*ggls at Cg's words and accepts the water gratefully*

Thank you Cg ... I rarely over-indulge to this extent!

*sips the refreshing liquid*

How is your weekend going? Been busy writing?
I owe a lot of posts, but I don't think that's going to happen today ...

:rose:

A couple of post for my few stories Mari.;)

Friday I was off to the Highland games here in the mountains. watched the sheep dog compositions, a little Celtic harps music and a relaxing day all in all.

That sounds like fun, Cg. My Friday/Saturday has been less .. rustic ...

*ggls*

:rose:

Living up here in my mountain, north of the notches as we say by nature is rather rustic and that is by choice.

It is small town or village life. A Post Office, a small general store, and the town offices. That's it.;)

It sounds idyllic ... I'm not usually that much of a party girl, but ... everyone has to let their hair down sometimes ... :rose:

That they do Mari.

Every now and then we all need an opportunity to kick up our heels and have a grand old time for our selves.

Yes I find the life here idyllic but I fear most would find it boring.........We are not known for our " Night Life";)

*smiles*

Well .. I am now recovering from my 'grand old time' ... a walk in the country air would have been most effective for that today ...

Nightlife can be over-rated ... I prefer it as an occasional indulgence, not a lifestyle choice ...

*stumbles into the Inn carrying a large tarp with her*

Howdies to all that might be about... In the shadows or otherwise...

*places the tarp on her favorite couch before carefully settling herself down on its crinkly surface*

Returning to the Inn after a day of domestic chores, I'm now even more convinced that my laundry is multiplying on it's own.

I make a tall glass of ice water and make my way to the chair by the couch. I see Angel sitting atop what appears to be a big tarp. Raising an eyebrow in curiosity greet her.

"Hey Trouble, nice tarp... are you planning on putting up a tent or fixing a roof?"

Lol, oops.... Forgot to "leave" earlier...

Spent the day working with my brothers and hubby clearing trees, etc that my parents had taken down in their yard. Ended up having to cut up a massive pine tree and it seemed like I was covered in icky pine sap. I don't mind smelling like Christmas, but if I'm going to be sticky... Well, I'd rather it not be with sap. :D
