The Passion Pit

Like Des, I remember playing out on the playground under the screen, which was the best. Remember all those old refreshment commercials with the big cartoon people with the star-like sparkles on their teeth?

When we were little we'd wear our pajamas there, and if we watched from the car, by the time we'd made it through the commercial and the Feature Coming Attractions, and the cartoon and the credits, I was often asleep. If the movie trailer was scary, our parents would reach back and put one hand over each of our four sets of eyes, but a couple times I peeked. Still remember one with a skull rolling down a long staircase, chasing some screaming lady.

We used to lie out on the warm hood of the car sometimes to watch the show. It was great on the rare occasion when we didn't have to eat food we'd brought with, but got to go to the concession stand for Milkduds or Dots, or something.

I've never made a secret that I am not a twenty or thirty-something sub. (OMG... quick cellis, that is a double negative and I won't change it so you can see that I do it too!)

Okay, again... It's no secret that I am 40-something. And being that age, I remember drive-ins really well. Do any of you?

The first time I ever got drunk (at 16 and with my 2 older brothers) was at the drive-in. On - yuck - Boones Farm Strawberry whatever it was.

I have other drive-in memories.

Would anyone else like to share theirs?

in some places they still have drive in movies. got a blow job once at one.

used to love going when i was a kid. playing at the playground and just having fun. florida has one where i used to live that i have gone to several times. i useually bring my own food. and the best thing is they sell beer there as well.

You do not have to be in the back row
to do those certain things

So I guess you can tell
I have been to a few drive ins
not yet this year
but i am hoping
proable should not hope
that a certain submissive
will cum visit me

and one of our outings
woud be

the drive in

Sounds like fun.. Somehow, I think with you I will end up doing the back row things in whatever row both times!

my last drive-in....

I was with construction worker bf in his truck, to see Escape From Alcatraz. The whole 'escape' part of movie was almost pitchblack and we argued a little over whether it was Supposed to be That dark. I kept saying that something was wrong, and that he or I should go to concession stand to check. He wouldn't and told me not to. Didn't like to 'make a fuss' or let me do so. Insisted he'd heard it was Supposed to be dark. Kept insisting that if there was something wrong, Somebody would complain.

My brother asked later how the movie was and I said it would have been better if you could See the escape. He'd seen the movie too, and, yup, it wasn't supposed to be That dark.
Guess all those fogged car windows on the other cars made it a little hard to see the movie.

Hope he managed to find his True Inner Sub after I left him. :D

Richard, you were a wonderful son. What a nice thing to do.

There used to be several drive-ins in Oklahoma City... I don't remember the last movie I saw in one... but I do remember going to one in Winslow AZ when I was a little girl... They had a playground and my brother and I played with my cousins while my parents and family watched the movie in the car... I remember the sound was so loud we could hear it outside the car....

When I was in high school... I have a '57 Chevy that was hugh and my friends would all pile in for $1.00 car load night... what fun at 4 of them could fit in the trunk...

I had not thought of this in years...

Thanks Rosie for this little walk down memory lane...
