The Real Diaries of Master C and princess sara (reborn)

Random related fact: There are more sellers trying to pass off real fur as imitation fur than people trying to pass off imitation fur for real fur. Apparently real fur has become such a "no-no" item that it's actually cheaper to use REAL fur than imitation fur, and imitation fur has become ridiculously expensive (considering that it's fake).

Oh my god! What is that? Is it a baby...mink? Ferret? The cute...it hurts!

It's a baby ermine! That's their summer coat coloring. Those are all ermine, that's why I posted those :/
But I won't object to random cute baby animal pics, in this thread, lol

A couple things come to mind, depending on where you are seeing the pricing.
1. A lot of overseas markets use dog fur for trim on coats and try to pass it off as fox or faux fur. It is apparently cheaper to use stray dogs for their fur than to make faux.
2. Many exotic furs are illegal to sell (leopard, ocelot, etc) some online sellers will post that they are faux but hint in the description and the pricing that it is actual fur. These are almost all vintage pieces. I actually scored a vintage leopard fur hat and collar that was listed as faux but are real. I had a local taxidermist confirm it. They are beautiful, I cherish them and wear them, especially the hat.
While I would never buy a new fur, I have many vintage furs I love and wear.

Is it? The babies are brown, and then they turn white, I guess. It's adorable!

I couldn't kill one, not even for fur trimmed boots. I guess I shall just have to stick with synthetic. ;)

Random cute animal pics...check.

The babies and adults are brown in the summer and all white in the winter.

Alas, for that polar bear "baby" picture is not a real animal but a VERY GOOD model. Actual newborn cubs are pink at the extremities and their eyes are closed (not to mention not so glassy and prominent). If you look a the ear as well, you can see it's been painted. It IS a very cute and quality model, though.

To offset being such a nitpick:

Really? I've been internetz scammed out of many awwwws then! Poop!

on the picture of the dog wrapped in a towel the caption reads

"cute dog raping towel"

seems freudian

This happened a couple nights ago in my basement;

It was pitch dark, and I can NEVER find the damn light switch so I was fumbling and stomping around in the general area. While doing so, I could hear something rustling. When I finally got the light on, a skunk was walking away from me. She must have walked right under my feet! Her tail was down, and she didn't even bother to look back at me-- cool as a cucumber. A potentially devastatingly stinky cucumber. Thing is, she was almost completely white. All I could see was a thin black stripe down her back and tail. Wish I had pics!

I also want to know how she got in there. and if she can get out again...

The OP should be happy, this post has turned into a rather popular spot. ^_^

Cute animals are so.... CUTE. o(@q@)o
