The Treehouse of the Cove

Hey beautiful.

I say coming up to meet you with a affectionate kiss onto your lips.

Have another song to play? I feel like dancing, but not sexy or romantic dancing. Just dancing for fun with the woman I love.

The beat on this is a little fast.

I say beginning to move my body to the music doing my best to try and keep up.

but I like it.

Dancing around you letting the music lead my hips and arms.

I can find something a little slower on the playlist I think.

Yeah something easy to get lost in.

Smiles to you as the upbeat song ended.

I think I know just the song darlin.

Clicking through the playlist and smiling finding the song. Turning to slowly walk with the intro back over to you. Arms slithering out to drape over your shoulders.

Yeah this one's perfect.

I begin dancing getting lost in the song, the energy, the vibe of it. I take your hand and hold as we dance together. It isn't pretty or sexy or romantic. It is just two people enjoying eachother's company and the feeling a good song gave them uncaring of whether they would be judged.

Twirling swaying with scattered faint kisses to lips and cheek as we dance lost in the music and each other.

When the song ended I pull you in close to give you a hug.

Thanks beautiful. That was really fun.

I give you another affectionate kiss on the lips before asking.

How about dinner now?

Dinner sounds great love.

Snuggling into the hug and kiss. Missing this so much... Our time.

Our time is now.

So what are we having? I point out towards kitchen. We have some steaks in the fridge, or I can make my famous spicy spaghetti.

Steaks sound good something we can work on together.

Taking your hand and walking towards the kitchen.

We cross over to the kitchen and I grab a pan for the stove.

Mid fetching the new York strip steaks from the freezer and defrosting them in the microwave, Asa?

What love?

Grabbing some olive oil and herbs for the steaks.

Sorry typo happened there. Get the steaks out of the freezer and defrost them.

When you did that I take them and sprinkle some salt and pepper on both sides putting them both in the pan and immediately they begin searing.

Do you want yours rare or medium, darling?

Rare will be fine love.

Moving to get fruit and salad ready as well.

Rare it will be, beautiful.

I turn the steaks over in the pan revealing the first sides were beautifully browned and deliciously looking.

You want to cut the herbs to cover the steaks when they're done?

Already am love.

Breaking the sprigs and chopping up the leaves. And prepping a little Parmesan as well.

Oh, I see. The parmesan is gonna be a nice touch, babe. These are almost done.

Smiling and leaning close to kiss your cheek.

Smells wonderful can't wait.

Lightly tossing the Parmesan and herbs together.

I take the steaks out of the pan and set them both on a plate.

Now we need to let them rest for a few minutes.

You want to make some instant rice or baked potatoes as a sidedish with our steaks.

Fruit plqte a salad and baked potato perfect.

Slips past you to the potato bin to find a couple of nice ones.

While you get the potatoes I go over to the fridge retrieving the fruit.

Sounds wonderful, beautiful.

Smiling as we prepare the meal together.

I like this... It really is just the little moments isn't it love?

The little moments make it worthwhile.

I say slicing the fruit for us.

Its like a photo-mosaic all the little picture-the little moments-make the big picture even possible to be seen.
