You wanted to do something together for new years right?

Turns around to give you a kiss.

[Asa]

A soft kiss.

Yeah I did didn't you?

A playful wink.

[Veroe]

well you convinced me pretty well.

Care to help me assemble our salads?

 

[Asa]

Somehow I don't think it took too much convincing.

Walks over and starts helping get the salads ready.

 

[Veroe]

I take the head of lettuce and begin cutting the core out and pulling off the leaves.

Could you get me that big salad bowl from the shelf over there.

 

[Asa]

Hands you the large bamboo salad bowl. Then back to working on cucumbers and tomatoes

 

[Veroe]

Begins laying the leaves of iceberg lettuce into the bowl.

This is what I really like when we do these dates in the treehouse here. We don't just head straight for the bedroom right off, but instead we spend time playing or making dinner like it was for real, you know like this was RL and not just on Lit.

 

[Asa]

Exactly. I love this. Or when we just snuggle and talk.

Layering in the tomatoes and cucumbers.

 

[Veroe]

Takes the carrots and begin julienning them into matchstick shaped slivers.

I always enjoy our time together here.

 

[Asa]

So do I love... We should make time like this more often. Just enjoying the simple things... Together.

 

[Veroe]

Putting the carrots in the bowl and smiling to you.

Do we have anything else for the salad?

 

[Asa]

Homemade croutons and bacon bits and almond slivers whatever kind of cheese you want and lots of dressing.

Going and getting my personal favorite dressing avocado and cilantro. Also setting out the crumbled blue cheese and the various shredded or tiny cubed cheeses. Garlic herb homemade croutons and the real bacon chopped up ba on bits.

 

[Veroe]

You could find most of that in the pantry or fridge here. I'll put the croutons in the oven to toast, Ok?

 

[Asa]

Yeah toast them up a little more. There is also peppers or fruit Hun.

Smiling seeing what else we might have for salad.

We could slice up some boiled eggs or sweet onion?

 

[Veroe]

Both sounds good.

We need to get some glasses for the champagne out too.

 

[Asa]

Getting the boiled eggs and the sweet onion sliced up and pointing out where the champagne flutes are.

Alright then both it is. Feel free to toss and of the cheeses in there as well.

 

[Veroe]

Got it.

Takes the champagne glasses from the cabinet and placing them on the kitchen counter. Then I begin combining the ingredients into the bowl and tossing the salad.

 

[Asa]

It looks wonderful love.

Smiles and walks over to toss in the egg and onion.

So what else should we make?

 

[Veroe]

I kinda wanted us to eat light this time. I have the salads for supper and the strawberries for desert. Do you think we'll need anything else?

 

[Asa]

Sounds perfect to me love.

Getting bowls for us for the salad and silverware.

 

[Veroe]

Good begins putting the salad into our bowls and taking them to the dining room table.

 

[Asa]

Carries the flutes and the champagne to the table.

Once everything is on the table resting a soft kiss on your cheek.

 

[Veroe]

We sit down smiling at eachother as we begin our supper, our first supper of 2017 together.

Raises my champagne glass in a toast.

I drink some of the bubbly at the toast and start to eat our salad.
