The Treehouse of the Cove

After a moment the steaks will be finished searing. Meanwhile I take a cast-Iron pan grease it up with a cooking spray setting the oven to heat.

Ready?

I ask taking the steaks and putting them on the pan topped with the butter. The heat from the grilled outside was already starting the melting process on the butter letting all the buttery herby and garlicky goodness play with the beefiness of the steak.

Open the oven door, beautiful.

Oven open and watching the steaks catching a whiff of the seasonings.

Perfect

Yeah saw this trick on the food network and wanted to give it a try.

Smiles over to you with a cocky air.

Working out quite well if I do say so myself.

Yes it is working out well.

Slips close while we wait for the steaks.

It should be only a few minutes love.

I look over to you.

Is it time for you to start on the fruit?

You gonna help too?

Moving to the cabinet taking out a medium sized round seedless watermelon and various berries and bananas.

Could you cut the watermelon in half cutting just a little off the bottom of each half so they sit level while I prepare the other fruit?

Sure thing, love.

I move over to slice up the watermelon as you said.

I love watermelon.

Once the berries are all carefully mixed then moving to slice out the watermelon and chopping the pieces of it before mixing it all back up in the rind "bowl" and adding a few grapes on top.

There we go.

Okay let's get the pasta salad out now.

I open the fridge and pull out the bowl setting it beside the watermelon and fruit on the island.

Do you want to eat out on the balcony or perhaps we can go down to the jungle or beach for a picnic instead?

Picnic in the jungle I like the sound of that.

Smiling and collecting up things in a basket.

I take out the steaks and grab a couple of plates and silverware.

We'll have to cart these back up here to wash these.

I take the basket saying.

Lead the way, gorgeous.

That's fine with me unless you would rather just stay indoors?

Winking and walking toward the stairs down to the sand.

No picnicking out in the jungle will be very romantic, don't you think?

Following after you and enjoying the view of your sexy backside as you walk ahead of me.

A wiggle and a wink looking back over my shoulder.

Yes it does.

Making her way to the jungle path and walking along guided by the moonlight to a little clearing by the stream. Memories playing back in her mind off the times they made love in the smooth almost table top rock under the soft waterfall.

I laugh at your cheeky wink back at me as we go deeper into the jungle.

Beautiful night out tonight. Perfect for a picnic under the stars.

Yes it is perfect.

Setting everything down and spreading out the soft blanket on the soft jungle grass.

Join me...

Love to putting the basket down and lying down next to you.

I hand out the plates and silverware and put one fillet on each handing you one. Then salad and fruit bowls.

Shall we...bon apetit my love.

I just need to check this.

Trying to balance the plate on my knee I cut into the steak.

Well it seems I nailed it. Medium rare in the center. A job well done is its own reward as they say.

Smiling as we relax and eat.

Yes the steaks turned out amazing

Not half as amazing as the mix of these berries and the watermelon. Good work on that, darling.

I lean forward and eat it straight from your fingertips. tongue rolling over the skin in doing so.

You are vey welcome.

(raincheck till tomorrow, beautiful)

A purr and a wink.

((Raincheck love I have a company picnic tomorrow but as soon as I can get online I will))

I take a forkful of the pasta salad and offer it to you with a smile.
