I've applied for 2 jobs today, both with the RAF as a civilian, then I've got 2 jobs to enquire about tomorrow!

Its shite weather here today, cold and raining. I had crap sleep last night, might as well jump back into my bed again lol. Gotta pick up my girl from school in a wee while tho, so think it will just have to wait lol, but God I am so sleepy!!! ugghhh
 
I had to take it easy driving home from work cos the back roads to where I work are awful, and its raining.
 
Thank fuck its friday and I'm only working half the day!And its pay day!Woo hoo!

Well, we have successfully moved house and are back online. The kitten has just about failed to be lost, boxed, stepped on, left behind, set loose to terrorise the new neighbourhood or sold to a passing Korean as a snack. She was not impressed with moving day and has since been stomping about the place sticking her nose wherever it's least wanted. :cattail:

Master has been putting furniture together for the last few days and perfecting the layout of his guitar/recording/gaming/boystuff room. He's got some of his mates round tonight for a beer/pizza/gamefest so I'm vacating and leaving him to it.

Hope everyone else has that Friday feeling. :nana:

Thankyou and thanks again Lady M. The av siuts me at the moment, especially the 'tearing my hair out' part. Moving is so stressful. We're never doing it again!

Or drinking.

Lol if I had a pound for every time I said I was never drinking again...

but you do, and then you say it again and again.

I hate moving house though. My last move, my parents helped me and we spent all day running back and forth. I have promised myself that if I ever get around to moving again, I'm hiring removal men and letting them do the back breaking bit.

We had a couple of local entrepreneurs bring their van round. They buy and sell second hand furniture and appliances. They were cheap and cheerful but still managed to take a chunk out of the wardrobe's veneer and break the base of Master's PC monitor. Plus, we had to help load and unload the van. Twice. It was very hard work.

By the time we put ourselves through another move, we will be affluent enough to hire proper moving people.
 
Glad to hear the move went relatively ok! Wish you loads of happiness and good fortune in your new abode.
