I went for a walk along the river.... It rained on me.

Got some pics but not sure how they will turn out.
 
A sub-sub basement sounds interesting!

It won't stop the redundancies, but it may mean that what evolves looks very different with more onus on the management being part of the decision making process.

Stockholm, right next to the central station currently. Working on the new Hospital buildings at Karolinska.

Out and about for me today - got a few people to see and things to sort out. Then out all day tomorrow for Worksop trip - doing that one on my own so I can't pass driving duties to anyone else!

Worked from home doing some surveys to find out what the public perception of the charity is and what we are doing right/wrong.
Even though I only managed a small cross section, some useful information came from it.

Was quite a shock, it wasn't supposed to be here until tomorrow at the earliest! Just as well we were both in.
Had to destroy the old one to get it out the door.
Very happy with it, lovely rich colours and comfy :)
I love ebay!!

safe back in the UK. in a hotel, but not the one I planned. now in London tomorrow, not Corby. if any londonites see a talk, bearded, semi-comatose safety officer trudging around there tomorrow... that might be me. 18 hour day today- 5 hours sleep, the away I go again.

It's horrible outside - freezing cold and raining. I'm out and about today over on the Wirral - would rather be staying in my nice warm office!

Glad M got back safe and sound, though tired no doubt. Daisy - are we going to get a blow by blow account of this fight...er... meeting??:D

Glad the sofas comfy, by the way!
 
Kids came into work briefly yesterday and husband discovered this morning that son had loaded a disco app onto his office computer. Foolhardy husband pressed it and now his key board won't stop flashing. He's really cross and I can't stop laughing...

I won't be at the meeting (unfortunately) I reckon its going to be a complete bumfight!
We will be give a document tomorrow, which we have to have a meeting about Tuesday. Woot, the managers are in revolutionary mood!!

Had a good morning with my clients, one of whom I am going to have to fight to get a new wheelchair, it is so knackered it has become dangerous. The ones she needs cost a small fortune, but as she is in it every waking hour, it needs to be right.

I am off to see a Queen tribute act tonight, hopefully will be good, I have seen the real thing and there is a lot to live up to! :)
 
Husband went hairless - very funny. Son better move quick tonight though!

Sounds like a plan! The only reason I ask is I've done some printing in the past for The Bohemians and I think they're based down your way, so I wondered if it was them. And yes, you deserve a good night out and a few laughs :)

and, finally, I am home home. feels good to be back even if it is to an empty house. well, I have the cats but they seem mostly put out I've been away :)

queen tribute sounds fun... flashing keyboards less so.
