Have discovered that my cat is a hardcore sadist whom I totally submit to.
In this heat he decided to plonk his massive hot furry body down on my lap, and me, like the sood little sub I am, rubbed his chin rather than making him move. Sad eh? Lol
Still hot and uncomfortable although, strangely enough, I am sleeping well.

My students graduate today, I imagine there will be some tears it is going to be emotional!

Morning everyone - 5 am here. Just checking my work emails - the 8 hour time difference is a bit of a killer! Luckily I'm used to chatting in the middle of the night

Had a lazy day by the pool with both kids yesterday which was good. It's nice to be able just to chat to them without trying to do ten other things at the same time.

Going to be another hot day today all round by the looks of things. Stay cool, everyone

I hope they have aircon!! Ask them if they have a rollaway bed, most will, sleeping on the floor is never a good idea! X

tis the airshow. so either I slept on the floor or my dad did... and he's in no stay of health to do that.

Ended up leaving the pool early - the weekends bring the young unattached who like to buy a bucket of beer and stand in the pool trying to pull.

Slight altercation when one drunk guy tried to throw a large inflatable at his mate, hit me instead, which hurt, so I threw it back in a temper and hit him on the head. Perhaps should have thought about that course of action first....luckily they apologised

Nah - we don't gamble. Kids aren't allowed in he casinos which is a shame because son has the luck of the devil combined with mathematical genius! There are six lifts and when we are waiting, we each choose the lift we think will come first. He chooses the right one every single time. We had to stop buying raffle tickets from his primary school because he won the main prize in the Christmas draw 3 years running...God help Vegas when he reaches 21!

I am beggining to think about going to factor 70, I burn too easily on a 50, and I usually use a child one which should be pretty decent.

Glad the show was good, we are planning to go to either Dunsfold or Biggin hill, depends on the weather. If the cloud cover is low, its pretty pointless tbh. Although my daughter blagged her way into the cockpit of an operational Hawk last year when the weather stopped flights for a few mins. (She seems to do that a lot, she blagged a F1 car too)

The kids have decided we are having a picnic, so I must do some sarnies!
