The Werewolves of Millers Hollow (a social game.)

Welcome aboard Virgininneed! That makes the 8 player minimum, do we still want to try and wait for more, or shall I get this started?

I figure if we get going now with a short game, and let everyone see how its done, maybe a follow up game would bring a few more people into the fold.

Sounds good I am dying to see how it's played so that I can join in the next time around.:rose:

Okay, so I have started the game, and by now each of the players should have a pm telling them what they are for this session.

Lets begin with a stress free day, no murder was commited last night, feel free to do some lite role playing, 'establish your characters' as it were, get to know each other a little in the thread. The day will end when the players vote for who will become sheriff.

Mina had lived in Miller's hollow all of her life. She was only eighteen and very naive. She loved animals, and helped out at the vet often. She was short, thin, but with an hourglass figure. She loved to dance and sing, and often did so in her yard. Her mother died when an animal attacked her, but she didn't know what it was.

That morning, she went joggin in black shorts, a tshirt, and a red jacket. She took the usual trail, through the woods, and kept at it for an hour. Her long blonde hair was in a ponytail, nd her green eyes were bright. After her jog, she went to the diner for an early lunch. Her iPod was in her ears, and she sang quietly until the food was brought.

Avery Chandler

Avery slept in this morning. At least, by his standards. The feel of sunlight peeking into his window awoke him just shy of 8 AM. It was still too early for planting season, so his chores were lighter for the day. Feed the chickens, collect the eggs. It hadn't snowed the night before, either, so there was nothing to shovel, but there was a definite chill in the air. After tending to his chickens, he had to make a run to the big Farmer's market in Freeson to pick up more feed. So by lunchtime, he was driving back into town with a few small barrels in the bed of his old Ford Ranger.

After that, he saw a downed tree that had fallen just outside of his fence. He thought about heading out to chop it up for firewood, but then decided against it. It would keep, at least for another day, and he wasn't feeling up to any heavy work today. With a smile on his face, Avery decided to walk into town, and perhaps to visit the diner. Living alone wasn't exactly difficult, but he did occasionally miss having someone to talk to. After a quick decision, he changed his shirt, buttoning it up, and then leaving it untucked over his jeans. It was a short walk to the town's only diner, and really, the only place that people gathered in town.

Hennet awoke to the sound of a rooster call off in the distance. Getting out of his sleeping bag, he quickly got dressed, and walked out of the tent.

Stepping out into the clearing, in the middle of the woods, Hennet took a deep breath of the fresh clean air as he admired his surroundings. He loved it out here in the woods, away from the noisy and rush of the cities and towns. Here, there was peace and solitude.

After a few minutes, Hennet began to pack up. Taking down the tent, and packing it away, along with his other supplies. He had to take the two deer carcasses into town to sale to the local butcher, both the feed the townsfolk, and to provide him with some money.

It would take an hour or two to get into town, but at least he'd be able to admire the scenery as he traveled.

As sun rose in the sky so did a young woman in her mid 20's. Dressed for the chill of the morning air and light work clothes she headed outside. Her family owned and run business would not be up and running yet but soon.

It was still 6am ish but she loved to get things started in the shop before anyone else came in. All the workers would end up in the metal shop around 8am. Time enough to have a little fun with creating something new.

Her normal path in the morning took her right by the towns diner but this morning she was not up for coffee or even some hot chocolate. She was on a mission with a big smile on her face. Someones birthday was around the corner and she still had work to do...

Beep. Beep. Beep. Alexis groaned as the alarm clock interrupted her peaceful slumber. Rolling over, she slammed her hand down on the OFF button. It was just after 5:30 in the morning and, if she wasn't careful, she was going to be late for work. Scrambling out of bed, she hurriedly brushed her teeth, put her wavy auburn hair up into a messy bun, and threw on her uniform.

Twenty minutes later, Alexis was in the town's diner brewing a fresh pot of coffee and preparing for the morning rush.

Mina saw Avery enter the diner and pulled her earphones out before turning off her iPod. She waved at him and invited him to sit with her. It had been a while since she had talked to him, and she was glad to see him.

Rushing around the rapidly filling tables, Alexis poured cup after cup of coffee and took the orders of all the breakfast regulars. With only the one diner in town, the place was usually packed at any time during the day.

Alexis headed over the corner booth where Mina and Avery were seated.

"Hey, guys," she said with a cheerful smile, "what can I get you today?"

Avery paused in the entyy-way for a moment, relishing the feeling of the central heating from the diner. It was a very cold morning, and even though the sun was climbing higher in the sky, it did not carry any warmth with it. Walking had been a mistake-it had actually grown colder as the morning had gone on, and his light jacket was insufficient to insulate his body heat. After a deep breath he stepped into the dining area, preparing to grab a table before he noticed Mina waving him over with a smile. Young, sweet Mina-quite the lovely face.

He shuffled over to sit with her, noticing her tucking away her IPod as he sat down. "Morning, Mina." He smiled at her as he stretched out his legs. "You must be a glutton for punishment," he said, nodding at her shorts, smiling. "Colder than I thought it would be. I'm glad I don't have much work to be doing today."

Before she could respond, Alexis came over to check on him, and he smiled up at her. "Thanks Alex, I'll just have a coffee, please." He nodded as he stretched out his legs. "So how are things going with you, Mina?"
