Things I’ve wondered about after my latest story went live, an AAR

I still consisitently use San Diego as a setting. When/if I have a worry about how things might have changed in the twenty some years since I actually lived there, I throw in some kind of time tag, like having a tune that was extremely popular one year keep playing on the radio oir referencing an event that would fix a certain time frame in someones head, often a a local event that doesn't register nationally.

I've only published three works.

Two I specifically fixed in time on Page One:

TLW July, 1985
FSwmS June/July, 1986

My second one had no specific time cues, beyond movie references, so it could fall anywhere from about 2020 through today.
