I hear ya!

My SO's 19yo daughter is like that. She joined the Army reserves last year, and got back from her basic and AIT this summer. According to her everything I tried to tell her about my 6 years in the army is WRONG.
Still won't admit anything about me being right.

Does the same thing in the kitchen, where I am a somewhat accomplished chef.

Typical teen! Knows everything. Pisses me off on an almost daily basis. But then that might be the whole point too!
 
Our laundry room pipes have been frozen since Monday despite the space heater that we bought to use in there.

And I'm so cold! :(

The weather seems to be rolling across the continent from the west. And I am well west of you. It has recently warmed up here: +6'C! so 'hold on'.

this is why i forfeited my assmonkey union membership. their whole corporate structure is like this.

with all sincerity, though, i hope whatever the problem was gets taken care of. it sucks having to rely on someone to do something that's more or less bullshit to begin with.

I bought all of the ingredients, cookie cutters, a new cookie sheet and damn it, I don't have a frickin' rolling pin! :mad:

Oh yeah, and the fact that HE showed up at work today to add his 2 cents, which were not asked for. Fucker!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
 
OMFG....some people!! What pissed me off today was the woman who came into our store and wanted a personal shopping assistant (me). Someone to carry her stuff (I got a shopping cart...I'm not carrying her stuff!), for her to ask "do you like this or that one better?" (lady, I'd like for you to go the cashier NOW), and "I swear I saw more of X over here" (that's the ONLY place we have X in the entire store...our store isn't very large...are you calling me a liar when I say we have no more). I was at the shoot me now stage when I finally managed to say something and fled to clock out...I saw others fleeing the area when they realized she was loose :eek:
 
Is it bad if one is just too tired to get pissed? I used to be pissed over some injustices before (couple of months), but now its more in stile of: Who really gives a fuck anyway?

That kinda bothers me a bit.
