Things you wish for.

I wish I hadn't read this! Now I really REALLY want a hot fudge sundae.... to the point that I'm thinking of getting dressed, driving into Mc Donalds for one! AAaaagh!!

1. That is not a real hot fudge sundae.

2. DAMN YOU SALLY!!! (now I want a McD's sundae)

If using the drive-thru clothing is optional ...... just don't drip the hot fudge.

Caramel Sundae .... looooooooooool .... mmmmmmmmm ..... droooool

I wish I was able to keep the fixings for sundaes.
curse my lack of self-control

I am wishing that if Vail HAD the fixings for sundaes...she would cover herself in ice cream and warm fudge and allow me to eat until I was filled.

Barring that~I still wish for silence...

I wish I had a pizza from the place I grew up with, where I go every single time I'm home.
I also wish for someone to make me stop eating that pizza before I make myself all tummy-sad.

I wish for that one person in the RW who can keep up with me sexually. *sighs*

And I now wish I had a veggie pizza.

In re the rep system...

It simply doesn't/won't work here, the problem being that "dissing" a post is also one of the perks of having a rep. "Friends" will vote up a post in the same way they they will vote down for folks that they dislike.

It's the same reason that voting on threads in the main SRP forum didn't work and was removed. Some brilliant writers had threads that were given one star and some horrible threads were given five - all because someone/anyone has one vote per membername and the only thing that keeps someone from having a gazillion of those is lack of separate emails.

Besides, there are plenty of "I love your writing, now pat my back, too" threads here to invalidate the need for more of the same. There are an awful lot of really good writers here that never get any form of recognition in the Lounge - but that's the nature of this subforum. ;)

Pretty much been my experience on other sites with votes, admittedly not literary ones where everyone is so considered and mature. One site even allows non-members to vote and rate, you can imagine how successful that is, even with averaging software.

Alana, I know you mentioned not pm'ing as a rule. I'm sure a short comment to the author of the post that caught your eye would really make his or her day . . . almost a form of RAK.

Now I want pizza AND a carmel sundae.

That's just the kind of girl I am....

And that on a wishing thread, my halo isn't going to last long at this rate .....

*concentrates really hard* .... there, I've made my wish.

Thanks Maid. I understand now why it's not in place. Thank you.

but I'd not wanted to rep a srp post. Just a chat post that made sense, and commenting publicly on it would have created more agro in an already aggravating thread. Commenting privately would have been best, but like I said earlier, I don't know the man in question, so won't pm him, ..hense I'll just have to forget it.

But thank you for explaining the reason why the rep system isn't here. I guess when it was, it was before my time.

I know Azazael. But it's just something that I'm very uncomfortable with when I've never addressed the person before. I've no huge reasons why, but it honestly is something I just can't do. But thank you for the reply. And I love your screen name btw.

I just have this feeling you never had a halo in the first place.

snickers, runs and hides

I wish the smell of roast lamb didn't take so long to leave the house. Tastes fab, but god I hate the smell of it cooking.

Thank you ....... one of the few times I've managed to start on a forum with a name that suits :)

Hahaha I knew it! You won't find me. I'm an expert hide and seek player and I'm small so I fit in little dark places you'll never find ;)

I wish I had a personal chef to make me something amazing to eat but since I don't I must go cook.

The fun is in the chase, well some of it, the chase, the almost catching, the desperate escape ...... finally the grabbing, pinning and the ignoring of faked protests .....
