It helped to use a pen, but really should use a variable width one (soft felt tip, like flare, or a split nib....or could use the tablet...)...nah... whatever is most handy.

And sure, you could use your variable width pen with a split nib (running to Google to confirm what I actually said isn't something very kinky), but you obviously work well with whatever is handy, so I'd go that route.

I gave up on the BD/Sm illustration thread, as it got too "dark" and heavy for me, but there was a suggestion for illustrations of Anne Rice's "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty" etc...

The Sleeping Beauty Quartet also got a bit much for me

Many years ago, a woman suggested that I draw the scene where the prince comes upon (heh heh) Beauty and uses his sword to split her night gown, As I recall, the fabric was very fragile...

Been many years.

I do recall that the "prince" was a bit of a dick. Seems that too often dom types are — like in 50 Shades (yes, I know ) and all over LIT.
