I see little girl dynamics all over the place, even in the nilla word. I suspect the same is true for little boys, but I don't really notice that.

Anyway, I have a theory suggesting that due to the hugely extended childhood of homo sapiens, child/adult interactions have become hardwired into our social behaviors. 4 millions years ago, we still had normal sized ape brains, yet already had extended childhoods approximately 8 years long. Considering the plethora of human behavior changes that have accompanied the evolution of a large brain, and the move to a more carnivorous diet, it is not far fetched to think that child/adult social behaviors are deeply hard coded within us.
