Lol, congratulations on your win, but you might want to slow your roll. The progressive movement didn't die. This wasn't Bush beating Dukakis. You were up against a poor candidate that only had 110 days to campaign, didn't have much of a platform other than "I'm not Trump", AND is the "incumbent" party during a rough economy. Despite that she's only behind 5 million in the popular vote. The progressive movement isn't dead, just was represented poorly(Thanks Biden!) and didn't have a good enough economical plan. We'll have the senate back in two years, and the presidency in 4 after Trump continues making a fool out if himself and Republicans and everyone remembers why they hate him.

This was a complete realignment of American politics in thorough repudiation of the Biden/Harris radicalism which just cost you the White House and the Senate.

It was too close a vote to constitute a realignment.

And only an idiot would speak of "Biden/Harris radicalism." They're both DLC DINOs, no further left than Obama or Clinton.

Well sometimes when you pull off a coup and remove a standing president as a candidate this is exactly what you get. I believe the Dems knew they couldn't win with Joey. I also believe that Kamala was a sacrificial lamb that most Dems knew couldn't win. But with so little time to campaign none of the big names wanted to risk losing the chance for 2028. It also pretty much eliminates her running again in 2028, which is another DNC planned move. It all played out as planned.
