Happy Xmas Eve. Saddling up a bit more in preparation for getting out of here. I'm taking some food I froze for meals tomorrow. Also, I hope to sight in those 2 rifles, too. We'll see.

Out West. Got the truck mostly unloaded. Looks like rain tomorrow.


There be the new kittens in the house. They're little yet large enough to be into every-fucking-thing. I brought That Damned Kitten from my house, but she's a year and a half, so she's an adult cat. The barn cat is down here, too. So I woke up to 4 cats and like as not, I will tomorrow, too.


The big red horse seems glad to see me. It's kind of like he's coming out of his shell, maybe. We had a nice visit for a bit. I walked up to him while he was having his supper and I accidentally startled him. He turned suddenly - he didn't kick. These critters aren't kickers. Anyway, I guess he wasn't used to having me around and forgot I was/am here. No matter. He was always around when the old bully horse was breathing, being as he was his bestest buddy. So I guess I get a red horse kind of as the consolation prize.

Happy We Survived Xmas Day!!! There will be no boxing here. It's Driving Day. With Kitten. Up, breathing, drinking coffee. Off to load up here in a few minutes.

Wat'll be in and out for the balance of the year, kinda like usual.


Looks like the Xmas trip may get longer and include another stop. I'm thinking of dragging last fall's anvil score out there and leaving the trailer, too. Maybe. I'm sure I can load a few things which can best be left there and take them with me. And that damned kitten can get in some good road-tripping.


The weather looks like it'll be a bit warmer next week so's the heat won't get taxed. No freezing.

Happy Wednesday!!! We survived yesterday's drive, and we're here. We suffered nearly a 3 hour delay, part of which was likely some GPS wishin'-n-hopin' ciphering and a big chunk of which was The St000pids being out for a ride in Wat's Way. Kitten started to get a bit concerned after dark, which comes early these days, but she stayed mostly patient. Next time we do this, I should bring more canned grub for her. No idea what's on tap for the day. They'll surprise me, I'm sure.

I like the '33 better. The fenders are a bit higher in front.


So Junior at this stage in his partner trek should have a "book" of $1.6-$2M in business. He has one customer that is $1.8M. The rest of his book gets him over $5M. So he will wind up getting putting up for full vesting sometime in Spring of '25, which is about 4 years early.
