"Two Treasures: A Pirate Tale" (closed)

Bonny's slight smirk became a big grin at Billy's declaration that the only woman he wanted fuck was sitting across from him at the little dining room table. They stared at one another for a long moment before she hollered, "Rolly!"

The cabin boy could be heard scrambling from within the nearby galley. He knocked, then entered, knowing that he didn't need to wait for permission. While she was still staring at Billy, Bonny ordered, "Call Mister Read to my stateroom."

Rolly hurried away, and a minute or so later the ship's First Mate repeated the cabin boy's knock and quick enter. "Yes, Captain?"

"How is the replenishment going, Mister Read?" she asked, her eyes still set on Billy.

"With the men divided between watch stations, unload, replen', and shore leave--"

"Cancel shore leave, Mister Read," Bonny cut him off. When she didn't get an immediate response, Bonny finally pulled her eyes from her Third Mate and looked to her First. She repeated and clarified, "Cancel shore leave immediately. Send the Master of Arms to shore to pull those lice ridden whore mongers back aboard if necessary, but get them back and get them back now."

Connor could see where this was going. He asked, "Are we in a hurry to go somewhere, Captain?"

"We're going to Beira … tonight," she said, not surprising Connor as the two of them had been talking about the raid on the French port off and on for days. Bonny looked to man sitting across from her again. "Captain Billy here is returning to Swan to solicit some assistance for our theft of a Frenchie ship, so … have the Master at Arms deliver him back to the merchant ship on his way to shore. Lock up the rum … have a roasted pig and two dozen plucked geese … oh hell, get'em live and we'll pluck'em ourselves on the way … have us a big pig feast tonight and a goose fry day after that."

Connor asked a few more questions, Bonny gave more answers and instructions, and the First Mate headed out to get his job done. Bonny looked to Billy again, telling him, "I'd like to have two dozen men … men who know how to use a cannon, a scatter gun, a rifle … anything that goes boom. If you can't supply them from Swan, I can get them from Nuevo Nassau, but … mercenaries and pirate are far from the same thing. In addition, you, Third Mate Murray, are not going to gain loyalty from a bunch of cutthroats."

Bonny rose from her chair and stood over Billy as she went on, "Swan should sail with us to Beira and await our return off shore far enough not to be spotted by the Frenchies coming in and out of the port. Then, after we've captured the schooner, the men who want to go back to being merchantmen … then can reboard Swan … and head for England."

Then Bonny surprised Billy by moving up close to and leaning over him, grasping his face in her hands, pulling his head back so far that a lesser man's skull might have popped right off, and then laying a hard, wet, passionate kiss on his lips. Her tongue pressed against his lips, urging them apart as her bosom pressed hard into his upper chest. Then, just as suddenly as the embrace had begun, Bonny -- who honestly looked a bit flustered by her sudden show of lust -- pulled away, took two steps back, and ordered, "Dismissed, sailor."

Observing the Captain as she readied for the raid on the French ships, Billy couldn't help but continue to be impressed. Being the Captain of a pirate ship was much different than being the Captain of a merchant ship. One of the big differences was the preparing of weaponry. Billy needed to learn from Belle Bonny if he was ever going to be a pirate Captain.

What a shock it was when she grabbed his head and pulled it back and then kissed him deep and hard while pressing her wonderful breasts to his chest. Just as quickly, however, it was over. Billy wasn't sure of her intention, but he new for certain that he wanted her more than ever, and he was dismissed.

Billy went to the Swan and began talking to the men that he believed would be the most likely to fight if the need arose. Not all of them, however, were interested in fighting for a pirate Captain that had taken everything they had in the cargo hold. Billy reminded them that they were receiving double wages for their trouble.

One of the men, the one who had been teasing Billy as he rowed the boat, called out, "yes, and what is it that you are getting from the pirate Captain Billy." He took 2 steps toward the man and suddenly had the man's throat in his hand. Billy lifted the man up by his throat. "You have disrespected me before, now you disrespect me and my Captain. It will not happen again."

Taking a dagger out of his boot, Billy sunk it deep into the man's heart in one single thrust, and, still holding him up by his throat, walked him to the rail and tossed him overboard.

"Is there anyone else that wants to disrespect me?" The men all looked down at their feet. "Now, which of you men that I have chosen, are interested in capturing a Frenchie. Do it for the King." He paused and looked at them and then threw the bag of coins on the deck in front of them. "Or you can do it for your share of that."

Billy, and the bag of coins, were able to recruit 9 men for the mission. He told them they would be able to sail back to England on the Swanonce the French ship was captured, if that was what they wanted.

Billy walked to the rail of the ship and contemplated what he had done with the sailor who had cajoled him. He was changing. Standing there awaiting his Captain's orders, he wondered if choosing the life of a pirate was the right decision.

"Nine men … that's all?" Bonny asked Billy when he returned to Andrea at the early evening hour. She realized that her inquiry had sounded critical and after flashing the man an apologetic expression, she said, "I should be happy you got that much. Your men are loyal to their ship, their company, and their country … and while I know they are loyal to you as well, Billy … jumping into the life of piracy is not an easy to make decision on a moment's notice.

They spoke for a moment about the men he'd recruited for the attack on the French ship. They had varying degrees of experience with firearms and/or cannons, which Bonny would have expected from merchantmen. "We will train on our way to Beira. By the time we get there, I guarantee you that Mister Barlow will have them shooting gnats of the backs of albatross without shedding a feather from the birds."

Mister Barlow, of course, was Andrea's Master of Arms and the most skilled man ever with a rifle or cannon. It was his leadership below deck during the attack Billy had piloted on the Spanish ship that had rendered the vessel little more than floating debris in two broadsides.

"For now, though, we have a ruse in which to partake," she told Billy. She called all of her Officers to her stateroom, went over the plan for the next three days with the entire staff, and sent them off to collect the men required to pull off their little fake drama. Looking back to Billy, Bonny told him, "I think I need a drink."

Twenty minutes later, Belle Bonny, Connor Read, Mister Wilkens (whose first name Bonny honestly didn't even know), and Billy Murray -- who in order were, of course, Captain, First Mate, Second Mate, and now Third mate -- as well as two dozen pirates had made the voyage to Nuevo Nassau in two launches. They made the greatest effort possible to ensure that anyone who might have an interest in Andrea or Swan saw them and presumed they were in town for a night of drinking, whoring, and other entertainments.

Bonny led some of them to a more private table surrounded almost entirely by hanging drapes. Over the next hour or so, the small group dwindled until only Bonny and Billy remained. She found it difficult to sit here in The Hungry Lemur across a table from Billy, knowing that she had a room upstairs with a comfortable bed in which a great deal of sex had been had over years past and yet had seen none since she'd rented the space.

"Whore!" she called to a beautiful young pale skinned woman who was passing by with her bare tits well displayed. "Com'ere."

The woman turned back to Bonny with a smile of delight. None of the slits were here because as little girls they'd dreamed of having a multitude of cocks emptied into them. But -- while Bonny hadn't been with a man since before she murdered her husband -- a few of the whores had had the opportunity to earn their night's pay in the more gentle arms of the Captain of Andrea.

"Sit there," Bonny surprised the woman by gesturing to Billy. Bonny even raised a boot to gently push the whore into the man's lap. Bonny tossed a trio of coins onto the table and ordered, "Reach into his pants and make a mess."

The beauty would do as told without question, of course, but whether or not Billy went along with it was up to him. Bonny would sit there and watch, fantasizing about the night Billy would put that hardening cock inside her. If he shooed the whore away, so be it. Bonny didn't care one way or the other as they weren't a them yet.

Two hours after they'd arrived, most of the members of the two ship crews began slowly disappearing from the more public areas of The Hungry Lemur. Most of the men ascended the stairs, led by or leading a whore or even two, while others left the building to search for entertainment not offered here.

This was the ruse about which Bonny had spoken, as each of the wandering-away men made their way to the private back staircase of Lady Clara's place and headed through the dark alleys for the docks. Bonny drained her drink -- which she had been nursing all night -- and told Billy loud enough for some nearby men she didn't know to hear, "Let's go upstairs and fuck."

She stood, dropped into Billy's lap, and -- as her hand clenched his crotch to roll about his cock -- laid another one of those big kisses on him mouth; she peeked under the brim of her hat at the nearby table and found the men indeed paying more attention than was appropriate. She stood and led Billy up the stairs, into her rented room … and right out the other side to the back stairs and ultimately the dock. As they waited for the last of the stragglers -- 8 men were left for the night to continue the mayhem and ruse -- Bonny locked eyes with Billy and smiled devilishly, thinking about how she'd wanted to not continue right past her bed.

An hour later, the anchors of both Andrea and Swan were lifted from the sandy bottom, the sails filled with air, and the ships headed away with Bonny at the helm of her vessel and -- again -- Connor Read calling the orders on the other. Looking aft, Bonny noted the two launches displaying lanterns to mimic the two departing vessels. All through the night, every half an hour, the pirates left behind in the launches would ring the bells to indicate the time. Just before dawn, the obvious ending time of the ruse, the men would sail the launches away and join the other pirates left behind in Nuevo Nassau.

Bonny retired to her quarters once the ships were well underway. She was tempted to have the cot set back up in the corner of her stateroom for Billy, who would instead be sleeping in a gently swinging hammock in a somewhat more comfortable corner meant for the Officers. But she didn't; Bonny knew that if Billy were to come to her quarters now, she'd rip his clothes off and ravage him all through the night.

The vessels would travel for two nights and two days before they were just 40 miles off shore of Beira, out of sight of the ships entering and leaving the port and, even more so, the watch towers at the fort that protected the bay. The element of surprise was crucial, and while they'd flown no colors on the way toward the Mozambique coastal town, they rose French flags when they got close to Beira just in case they were spotted.

The crews would have two days' light to train, and during the second night at sea -- after the slower Swan had been signaled to proceed without her -- Andrea dropped a floating rig of empty barrels with an array of lanterns to practice darkness target practicing. The plan was for the pirates and sailors to row quietly through the night to the lightly guarded French schooner and steal it without raising a ruckus, but there was always the chance that Andrea -- which would be close -- might have to set sail for the docks and raise a ruckus of her own.

"Captain, there was a tenth man, but, I had to dispose of him because of insults that he made in your direction. I realize that nine men is not a big number, but it is nine men that I trust will do absolutely everything they need to do in order to make sure that the raid and the capture of the French ship are a success. These nine men, I feel confident will not be returning to England."

Billy took his leave of the Captain and stood on the deck while contemplating the move that he was making. He had not even completed one voyage as a captain and was giving up his ship to join the pirates. Did he really want to be a pirate? Was he doing this just because of the lure of Belle Bonny? After all, she was the most attractive woman he had ever seen, and there seemed to be a fire lit between them... not a spark, but an actual fire that would, one day, envelop them.

When called to the Captain's stateroom with the others, Billy listened as the Captain went over the plan for the next three days. He was one of those that was to remain sober along with the Captain. He was amazed at how her mind worked.

When he returned, this time with Belle Bonny to the Hungry Lemur, he looked around again for Blackman. He wanted to know where he was, because he didn't want to be surprised by his entrance again.

As they moved toward a private table, Billy remained in an appropriate position for a Third Mate. he walked behind the Captain, but at a distance in which he could defend the Captain should anyone attempt an attack.

They sat at a private table hidden by drapes and a small group of them took seats. Billy was amazed at the activity going on. Eventually, the others with them moved about and disappeared; leaving Belle Bonny and Billy alone at the table.

Billy stared at Bonny as she pushed the whore into his lap with her foot and then tossed coins onto the table. As the whore reached into Billy's pants he told her to stop; still looking right at Belle Bonny. "Take the coins and go." He pushed her from his lap and watched as she grabbed the money and disappeared. He said nothing to Bonny, but he hoped his unspoken message was clear.

An hour later, when the Captain said to him, "let's fuck" Billy knew it was part of the plan, although he wished that it was the real deal. When Belle Bonny dropped into his lap and kissed him and grabbed his cock through his pants, he knew it was a precursor of what would come.... at some point in the future. While they waited for the others to join them to return to the ship, Billy saw the look Belle Bonny gave him, and he thought her message was clear.

He followed Belle Bonny up the stairs to a bedroom and then right out the other side. The made their way back to the Andrea, and shortly thereafter they were under way. He was once again impressed with the detail that the Captain went to to make sure that her plan was successful.

During the voyage, they engaged in weapons training. Billy was intently focused on the training. He wanted to make sure that no matter what weapon he was expected to use, that he was able to use it almost expertly. Being on a merchant ship had provided him with very little training in weaponry. He could handle himself with a pistol or a musket, but that was about it. He wanted to make sure that on this mission, he demonstrated to the Captain that she made a good decision by bringing him on.

Bonny was excited to see the two launches disappearing into the dark, lightly choppy waters heading for a prize … and then something came over her, and her stomach rolled so painfully that she very nearly puked. It had been more than a year -- more than two actually, as the last many months with Teach had been battle free -- that Bonny has seen a pirate with whom she was intimately involved in danger for his life. Oh, sure, they hadn't fucked yet. But Bonny had promised Billy two treasures would be coming his way, and -- in this pirate's mind, heart, and soul -- was as close to being physical as she'd been with a man in so very long.

As the launches vanished into the black, Bonny's anxiety threatened to overwhelm her. She excused her to go below and down a big gulp of Caribbean rum -- a taboo act before a fight -- then headed back up topside to await what came. With the exception of the lapping of the waves against Andrea's hull and the occasional sound of ropes tugging at rigging when short breezes arose, the night was of an eerie, deathly silence … and it was killing Bonny, though, only metaphorically … or so she believed was the word.

Nearly an hour had passed, during which she knew the launches had entered the bay and approached the schooner and during which she hoped the pirates -- old and new -- had boarded the ship without detection and taken it. Bonny called up to the Main Arm Watch yet again for an update; with her looking glass, he would be able to see movement on the Frenchie's deck, though -- if the operation remained quiet and undetected -- he wouldn't know what that movement meant.

Unfortunately, the quiet and undetected part suddenly went terrible awry. From at the railing, Bonny saw a tiny flash in the direction of the schooner which she herself cold only barely see. It was followed by another, then a third and a fourth … and a moment later, the sound of the pistol shots finally reached Andrea with such a low volume that an inexperienced sailor might now have realized just what they were.

"What's happening?" she called to the Watch without looking away from the action in the bay. She couldn't know who was shooting at whom, but it was all too obvious that a fire fight had erupted. She screamed louder, "Report!"

The watch told Bonny just what she unfortunately had been expecting. "Pistol fire on the deck of the Frenchie, Captain, but … no way of knowing whether--"

Bonny suddenly turned for the quarterdeck and hollered out, "Maneuvering sails … NOW!"

In less than a minute, the sailors who had already been at their stations awaiting this possibility had the sails well enough in place and the anchor far enough off the bottom to allow Andrea to begin moving closer to Beira. They maintained their blackout but abandoned the silence as the skilled pirates barked and confirmed orders and soon were heading for their fellow crew.

Bonny rushed from the aft of the ship to the fore to get a look at their destination. She couldn't know what was happening aboard the schooner...

She couldn't know that a French watch stander had spotted Connor Read the moment he'd landed his feet upon the unused boat's main deck...

She couldn't know that that first round fired had passed through the her First Mate's neck, dropping him to the hard wood where he would bleed out in seconds...

And she couldn't know that -- while not yet a pirate and yet still heroic and essentially the second most senior man aboard -- Third Mate Billy Murray was now in charge of the mission...

Billy was nervous as the launches approached the French ship. He had never been in such a position. Yes, he had fought battles before, but only defensive battles, and they were usually only fought by merchant ships if they were certain they would be successful. Now, he was a pirate and on the attack.

Quietly they moved alongside the French ship, and they began to execute the plan. Connor Read was to lead the pirates aboard the ship. He climbed aboard, just in front of Billy, and, no sooner did his feet hit the deck, than Read collapsed to the deck.

Shocked, Billy paused, but only for the briefest of seconds. There was no time for panic or fear. Billy went over the rail, fired his pistol, and took out the man who had ambushed Read. He was followed by the others in the raiding party. "Watch yourselves. I am certain he was not the only Frenchie on board. Now, do exactly what we planned for. Do it in honor of Mr. Read. Do it now."

A shot rang out and it clipped Billy on the left shoulder. One of the men behind Billy returned fire and took out another Frenchie. "Keep going men." Blood was dripping from Billy's shoulder, but adrenaline kept Billy moving.

He moved to the other rail and made sure that the men assigned to untie the French ship were doing so. Once he was confident the ship was free of its moorings, Billy started toward the quarterdeck. More gunfire erupted, and Billy knew that all of these shots would act as an alarm to those at the French fort. He needed to get this ship underway... NOW.

As he moved toward the quarterdeck, another Frenchie appeared. This one was surprised that Billy made it this far, and Billy caught him between the eyes with a blast of his pistol.

Everyone on the raiding party did as they were expected. As the ship came loose and sails went up, there was a cheer from the deck. "Not yet," shouted Billy. The French are sure to come after us. Hell, they probably have a ketch in the harbor to protect it, so, let's get out of here before we start patting ourselves on the back."

As the crew went back to concentrating on their tasks at hand, Billy wondered how many men, besides Connor Read, had been lost. As he looked out ahead, Billy saw the Andrea approaching quickly. Obviously, Belle Bonny saw something that he hadn't.

Just as Billy was catching sight of Andrea -- sailing on a perfect wind almost directly at him -- the OOD of the French ketch tied up to anchored moorings less than 200 yards away caught sight of the pirates attacking his countrymen on the otherwise unused schooner. In less than five minutes, he had his gun crews at their cannons and those cannons primed to fire.

Just as the sails of the about-to-be-stolen schooner were filling with wind and moving her toward the open ocean, the explosions from the ketch filled the night with sound, fire, and smoke. The Captain of the assaulting boat hadn't wanted to damage the schooner, of course, so he'd had his gun crews load their weapons with Canvas Grapeshot shells. The rounds were essentially gigantic versions of the ammunition used to hunt grouse and pheasant back on his father's estate outside Paris.

A moment after the cannons of the ketch fired almost simultaneously, more than 600 rounds of eyeball sized lead balls found the schooner and the pirates stealing her. All about the decks and rigging, screams filled the night; men fell from above or found themselves entangled in the lines, while down below those tugging at the lines were clutching at various parts of their bodies which, now, were open to the night air and leading many of them toward death.

"Reload!" the French Captain called out even as the smoke of his guns was still washing over his vessel's deck. He scrutinized the escaping ship's speed and direction -- as well as its position relative to him -- and commanded, "Cannon balls … target the steering … make it impossible for them to maneuver."

The Gun Chief began barking out orders to his gunners, and the switch from anti-personnel Grapeshot got underway. But just as he was announcing that the cannons were ready, another French sailor called out in panic, "Ship...! Ship...! Captain, second ship...! Three points off the starboard--"

The French Captain rushed down off the Quarterdeck, unable to see about what the sailor was speaking. He reached the bow, still not seeing anything in the darkness; his Gun Crew Chief was calling to him, asking if he was to fire on their sister ship or not. Then he saw it, the second ship … and even in the near darkness of just stars and a quarter moon, he saw the huge black flag flying from the main mast.

"Chief! New target!" he called.

He was giving instructions when hell rained down upon him. The port side guns of Andrea fired, and a moment later his main deck and portions of his gun deck were engulfed by the fire and fury that Belle Bonny wished upon them for quite possibly having already killed her future lover.

The pirate ship was less than 80 yards from the French vessel, meaning it would pass by before it could reload its port guns and fire once more. Bonny had known this, of course; she ordered the gun crews to the starboard side and the ship turned to that same direction as soon as Andrea had passed between the two ships. It wasn't the most advantageous of maneuvers, but if she wanted to send a second volley at the ketch, it was all she had available to her at the time.

Then, three things happened in quick succession: first, the French ship that had fired upon Billy and his pirates suddenly exploded in a massive fire ball, the result of a fire in the powder magazine that had been started by a well place cannon shot through a gun porthole; second a sudden and radically changed wind direction caused both Andrea and the French schooner to get just what they needed to get the fuck out of here; and third -- only inciting Bonny and Billy more to do just that -- a battery of 12 inch guns atop the French fort began firing toward the pirate vessel. One round, fortunately overshot, caught the top of the foremast of Andrea, breaking loose just enough of the workings to slow the ship a knot or two until repairs could be made.

"Get us out of here!" Bonny called to the helm after seeing Billy's prize now full of wind and heading southeast. She smiled, happy with their successful mission. Then, her smile faded as she wondered whether the second love of her life was still breathing. "Signal our prize. Ask for a report."

What an incredible maneuver!! Belle Bonny slipped between the ketch and the stolen French ship and, after a second volley, the ketch ceased to exist. The blast from the French fort, however, did manage to do a little damage to the Andrea, which motivated Billy and Belle Bonny to get the hell out of there before they could be fired on again.

Once they were out of the harbor, Billy went about the task of evaluating how many men were killed or injured by the blast of steel balls that had spread across the ship. The numbers were staggering, but he would be able to get back to Nuevo Nassau; as long as there were no attacks on them.

Billy then took the time to gauge the damage that had been done to the sails. The hundreds of holes in the sails would inhibit the ships speed, but he was confident that he could get the ship home.

One of the men indicated that there was a signal message from the Andrea. "Make sure they know we are okay, but have suffered losses and sail damage... speed will be slow."

After communicating the message to be sent, Billy settled down and focused on where they were headed. As he relaxed, and the adrenaline stopped pumping, he became away of the pain in his left shoulder.

Looking for a moment at his shoulder, he realized that it was worse than he first thought. The shot hadn't just clipped him. The round had entered his shoulder. As he felt his shoulder to see if he could locate where the round was, he realized that the bullet had gone in just beside his clavicle and had somehow managed to make its way through without hitting bone.

There was a fair amount of bleeding coming from both the entrance and exit wounds. He tore the sleeve of his shirt and packed it against the entrance wound. That would have to do until they got back to Nuevo Nassau.

Billy maintained his focus on the Andrea. He figured as long as he could see her, they were going in the right direction. It was difficult to sail the stolen ship with such a decimated crew, but Billy was determined to get it home. It was going to be a long couple of days, but Billy knew he could get it done.

As the sun came up the next morning, Billy saw Belle Bonny looking in the direction of her new ship. He was sure that she would be surprised to see him on the quarterdeck and not Connor Read. All of that would have to be explained later.

As the sun came up, the remaining crew members began the task of providing proper burial for their fallen comrades. Bodies were sent to their grave, one at a time, after each man had a chance to acknowledge the sacrifice of their fallen brethren.

The days were long as they sailed to Nuevo Nassau. Each day was more of a struggle for Billy as he struggled with the loss of blood and the pain from the gunshot wound. He was going to make it... no matter what.

Bonny had to turn her head from the men when the Signalman passed the message about Connor Read's death. The pirate's association with Bonny went clear back to their days with Edward Teach aboard Queen Anne's Revenge. But Billy was alive, and that was a relief.

"He's injured, Captain," the Signalman passed on a bit later during the slow process of maritime communications. "Shot."

Bonny turned back to the man, asking for more. The two men speaking across the open waters were using a form of hand held flag messaging which had come from Europe but had been modified in such a way by Bonny's crew that no one unfamiliar with it would see it as anything more than men playing with colorful cloth on sticks.

"He didn't want you to know," the Signalman told her, clarifying that the he was likely Billy himself. When Bonny asked the man to get clarification, he signaled to the other flagman and then translated, "He doesn't know, but he thinks it's because Captain Murray thinks you would stop the ships to deal with it … but … like I said, that's not Captain Murray's explanation, it's the OOD's."

Bonny contemplated the situation for a moment. Then, something occurred to her: the Signalman on the other boat had referred to Billy as Captain Murray … not Billy, not Third Mate Murray, not even Captain Billy. Was this a sign of how much respect Billy had already gained for his work in taking the French vessel. It made Bonny feel proud, even if she didn't have enough information about the situation yet.

Andrea adjusted her sails to maintain the slower speed of the injured schooner. Bonny had many things with which to deal, but she kept the Signalman busy with keeping up on Billy's condition. They were well into the late afternoon when she was told that Billy's condition was worsening; he had lost a lot of blood and yet refused to rest, which only kept opening the wound.

"Tell them we're pulling ahead and dropping a boat," Bonny told the man with the flag's. "We're sending the doctor over, but … they are not to decrease their speed. We must keep on toward Nueva Nassau. Tell them to have men ready to catch a line."

It took almost an hour to pull off Bonny's maneuver. Andrea unfurled additional sails to get out ahead and began lowering her two small dinghies. They didn't have a real doctor, but Mister Carlton, the crew's cook, knew how to hand a knife and needle. Besides, he was the closest thing to a medical professional for a thousand miles, unless they wanted to turn back to Beira.

Despite already being on a barely sufficient crew, Bonny selected 8 additional men to transfer and go to work on repairs to the French ship's sails and rigging. But just before the second boat was about to enter the water, the Aft Watch called out, "Sails...! Sails … sails aft … ten miles!"

During the night, the French schooner that had been expected to arrive in Beira had caught sight of the fleeing ships and -- seeing the mayhem in the harbor -- taken chase. It had only just now been sighted, several miles closer to Andrea than it should be. Bonny kept back a few of the men she'd been about to send across, and once Mister Carlton and 4 others were in the single boat left on the water, she had Andrea turned … to engage the French warship if necessary.

She moved to the port railing to look across to Billy for what might be the last time; he might bleed to death, she might get killed in the second half of this fight, or both. She called the Signalman over and sent the rest of the men out of ear shot. Speaking of Billy, she told them man, "Tell him to stay alive … because we're gonna get naked together and fuck 'til neither of us can stand when we're together again in Nuevo Nassau."

The Signalman's eyebrows rose, but when Bonny gave him a hard look and told him exact words, he raised the flags and began sending the message as instructed. When he was finished, he sent Bonny's second message: Sail on. Do not attempt to assist us. We are 'Andrea'. Be right behind you. I expect your ship to be named when next I see it and you.

Two hours later, after the sun had dropped beyond the watery horizon to the west, to the south-southwest the night came alive with the fiery explosions of cannons from two ships....

Billy was angry when the "doctor" was put in a boat and sent his way. Who had let on that he had been wounded? He knew that Belle Bonny was their Captain, but at the moment they were on a ship that he was in command of, and they should be following what he told them to do.

He heard the call of "Sails" come from aboard the Andrea and he looked off in the distance. Billy knew instantly what Belle Bonny was going to do. He saw her recall the one dinghy while the dinghy with Mr. Carlton continued on its way to their new ship.

The message that Belle Bonny sent was somewhat surprising. Yet, on the other hand why should he expect anything less? She said what she wanted to say, and she said it with authority. Billy was tempted to go along with her, but the last part of her message was clear. She did not want him to follow.

When the doctor boarded the ship, he was immediately brought to the quarterdeck where he began to look at Billy's shoulder. Mr. Carlton told Billy he would have to rest, which Billy immediately dismissed. "I am in charge of this ship. Until we get her home, I will not rest. You do what you need to do to keep me alive."

Mr. Carlton did what he was told to do... barely. Billy lost a lot of blood, and, by the time they got to Nuevo Nassau, he could barely stand. Once the ship was anchored in the bay, Billy went down to the Captain's quarters and fell asleep.

Twelve hours later, Billy awoke, not feeling much better, but somewhat rested. He went onto the deck and found that the remaining men were already trying to repair the damage that she had taken.

Inquiring about Belle Bonny, the men just shrugged their shoulders. "We have heard nothing Captain Murray." Billy shook his head. "I am not your captain. Belle Bonny is the Captain until she appoints someone. In the mean time, we need to finish getting her repaired. Oh, and before the Captain returns, we must have her named."

Some of the crew, even those from the Andrea insisted that he was their Captain. They talked about how he had been able to get them to safety, despite the loss of several of their colleagues. "That is up to Belle Bonny. In the mean time, I need a couple of you to row me in so we can get some supplies from Lady Clara and Blackman."

When they returned to the ship with the supplies, Billy went to work with the men. He wanted the ship looking good when Belle Bonny returned. He wasn't able to work as hard and as fast as normal because of his wound, and he kept reopening the entry wound, but he refused to sit and rest while the men did the work. It was what had earned the loyalty of the men on the Swan.

The one thing on his mind, however, was the location of the Andrea. It had been several days since they had arrived and there was still no sign of Belle Bonny and her ship. Billy worried about her. Billy had developed feelings for Belle Bonny beyond those of the sexual nature. He hoped she was safe.

###################################################

Six days after the French ship had arrived in Nuevo Nassau, there was a sighting of a ship approaching. Billy jumped and grabbed the looking glass and was pleased to find out that it was the Andrea.

As Belle Bonny guided her ship into the harbor, it was evident that she had suffered some damage. He smiled as he saw Belle Bonny, and was happy to see she was safe. He nodded his head to Belle Bonny as she guided the Andrea alongside the Satisfaction.

Bonny's first thought upon entering Soalala Bay was of how delighted she was to see that the French schooner -- with more length, width, and draft than Andrea -- hadn't been too large to navigate into the shallow harbor without running upon the shallow sand bottom. Well, true, maybe not her first thought; her first thought every morning and most of the day for nearly a week had been of having Billy cock buried inside of her. But her newest thought then was about the ship -- like Captain Murray's cock, she hoped -- having just the perfect size.

Satisfaction Belle Bonny thought to herself as she spotted the former-Frenchie warship through the looking glass. Appropriate … but was he thinking of the capture … or of me? She lowered and handed the glass back to the OOD. "Take us to our anchorage, Mister Abebe, and have the launch prepared."

"Yes, Captain," the newly promoted First Mate responded in English with his heavy Swahili accent. Already knowing what was making Belle Bonny excited, he said just loud enough for her to hear, "We will have you to him shortly, Captain."

Bonny looked to the tall, powerfully built former slave who had more than earned his freedom with a chastising expression … then calmed and finally smiled. She murmured playfully, "You … you just watch the sand bars, Mister."

Soon enough, Andrea's sails were all bound to the arms, the anchor was on the bottom of the bay, and Bonny was in the launch heading for Satisfaction. The cheers for her arrival began even before she had climbed entirely up the side to the deck. Billy greeted her, and she couldn't help but notice that his color was horrible.

"Take this man to his stateroom and put him in bed," she ordered after identifying who Billy had made his temporary First Mate. She wasn't going to stand for any fight from the injured man and demanded, "Do it! And post a guard! He is not to leave his bed until the Doctor clears him for duty, or I'll be filling little leather bags with cocks and balls."

That did the trick of course, even if the men didn't honestly think Bonny would take things that far. But in a very short moment, Billy was being escorted to the ship's main stateroom by four men who even picked him up by his appendages and carried him down the ladder at that point.

As she engaged the other men to learn about the last six days, Bonny couldn't help but be disappointed; she'd actually hurried between the two vessels with the plan to send all but the Watch ashore … to fuck her new lover's brains out. But that could wait another few minutes, hours, or days if necessary; hell, she'd waited more than a year by this point.

After she related what had happened to Andrea after engaging the French ship chasing after the newly named Satisfaction and mentioned Captain Murray, Bonny was told that Billy hadn't yet allowed a vote on leadership, saying only she could call for one as this was her boat by the Code. She dismissed the topic for now, quietly satisfied that Billy had respected her position over him in that way. There were few men in this pirating life who would even consider Bonny's authority unless they'd spent years watching her do her thing, as the crew of Andrea had.

"How is he?" Bonny asked Mister Carlton when -- burning with anxiety and lust -- she finally and casually broke away from the main deck to go check on Billy. "Why was he working?"

The pseudo-Doctor shrugged, telling her Billy simply wouldn't rest until the still ongoing repairs were finished. Carlton had secretly added a touch of opium to water he'd forced the new pirate to drink, causing him to drift off to sleep a minute or so later. Bonny stomach rolled as she looked at Billy laying there; he looked like a corpse awaiting casting over the side, his arms crossed over his lower chest and his face so serene . When Mister Carlton said he'd changed the bandages again and that there was nothing more to do but let him rest, Bonny dismissed him. She told him to pass the word and -- as she'd planned -- all but the 3 man Watch went ashore to Lady Clara's brothel for a night on Andrea's credit.

She opened a bottle of wine from the former French Captain's stash, drank directly from it … then shed her bustier, boots, and trousers to lay next to Billy. She was careful not to get near the shoulder, wanting him to sleep. It would be hours later before his awakening would bring her around … and without hesitation she would rise to kiss his lips softly and whisper with a devilish smirk, "It's good to see you alive, Billy Murray. I do not think the men would have left me in place as their Captain if they'd learned I came down here and fucked their dead Captain's corpse."

Belle Bonny was her typical self as the Andrea arrived back at Nuevo Nassau. She immediately began barking orders, including the order to have Billy taken to his stateroom. She made sure Billy didn't object by having four men lift him off his feet and carry him below.

When Billy was placed in his quarters, he took a drink of water that Mr. Carlton insisted he do. Carlton was advocating for him to have liquids in order to speed the healing process. Billy had no idea that the water was spiked.

When he awoke, Billy sensed that someone was in bed with him. It gave him great pleasure to find that it was Belle Bony laying with him. When she leaned up and kissed him, he allowed his lips to return the favor to the beautiful pirate Captain.

Chuckling at her comment about fucking his corpse, Billy looked into Belle Bonny's eyes. "I don't think you have to worry about that, Captain. I may not be in the best condition right now, but I am far from dead, and I don't plan on going there anytime soon."

He attempted to shift his body to move in closer to Belle Bonny, but his shoulder wouldn't allow it... at first. The most beautiful woman that Billy had ever seen was lying in bed with him, and he was not going to let a little bullet wound get in between them.

He kissed her lips softly again. "I must tell you Captain, you had me worried. You were gone much longer than I ever anticipated that you would be. I was concerned for your well-being. I was afraid I would never be able to get this close to you."

Billy kissed Belle Bonny again. This time the kiss was much deeper and was much more passionate. He placed his left hand on her hip and pulled her closer to him as their lips and tongues engaged... suddenly each battling for control.

Billy reassured Bonny that he had no intentions of dying soon, to which she whispered in a very suggestive tone, "At least not until you've had the opportunity to find joy inside me, yes, Captain?"

Their passion began rising as the very different parts of their respective bodies began pressing against one another in the search for pleasure. Bonny laid a leg over Billy's groin, letting it press into his cock, which she could very easily feel was stiffening; she pressed her bosom into Billy's chest, too, but when he winced at the pain in his own chest she backed off a bit and slowed things down.

When her spoke of her prolonged absence, Bonny sat up a bit higher so that she could look into his face. "We had the advantage of the wind when we reached the French schooner and passed by her quickly, loosing a broadside. She was bigger with more guns, but we'd raked her decks and struck her gun ports with the scatter guns and snipers, and when it was time for her to light off her guns, half were not manned sufficiently."

As she continued, Bonny toyed a finger tip upon Billy's bare chest, drawing the battle upon his skin. "We came around her stern to port and had just enough time for a second volley … directed at her rudder."

She smiled and laughed, describing the damage, "Kindling. I was contemplating boarding the Frenchie … taking her bigger guns … when we spotted not one but two boats coming from the direction of Beira. We fled, but they pursued us like seaman in a house full of virgins. The winds took us southeast to the Madagascar shore, where we slipped in and out of the shoals until we were finally free of the deeper draft ships."

Drawing the general shape of the island of Madagascar and then pressing a finger tip to one spot along its western shore, Bonny told him, "One of the ships ran aground here. I believe it was abandoned. I'm taking the crew out in three days to claim her … her guns … perhaps powder if it's above water."

They began kissing again, and this time Bonny pulled at the string holding his sleeping trousers around his waist, then slipped her hand down inside them to find his cock. Looking into Billy's eyes with that devilish smirk of hers, Bonny began stroking his length with energy and speed. It didn't take long for him to soil the inside of the trousers. Bonny just watched him with an intensity that other only saw on her face when she was about to take a prize.

Suddenly, she was up and out of his bed. She found a thick droplet of his discharge from her thumb, showed it to Billy, then told him, "You need to rest if you want to put this inside me. Remember … I'm yours only after your men have selected you Captain of your vessel … after you have proven to me that you are a man worthy of me."

She called the guard outside the door, telling him, "If Mister Murray gets out of that bed before Mister Carlton says he is well enough to do so … kill him."

"Yes, Captain," the Guard said. He pulled his sword from his belt as if to emphasize his willingness to do as ordered, then sat upon a double stack of cases of French Wines. "He's not going anywhere, Captain."

Bonny winked to Billy and headed away; he looked to still be affected by what she'd done to his cock only moments earlier.

At The Hungry Lemur, Lady Clara asked Bonny to her office. Once they were alone behind closed doors, the Madam and primary merchant of all things stolen and known in Nuevo Nassau told the female pirate, "We have a problem."

Bonny sat and listened to what Clara had learned through the rumor mill that centered around her whores and their talkative sailor and pirate patrons. She stood and walked to the windows looking out upon Soalala Bay, contemplated the news, and then turned back with a worried expression.

"I won't let it happen," Bonny reassured the other woman. "I won't let this be the end of what we've built here. We already lost Nassau to the English. I won't lose Nuevo Nassau to the French."

The two talked for several hours, sometimes bringing in others with information on the situation. The next day, Bonny returned to Satisfaction to check on Billy. He was doing better and Bonny hinted that perhaps another hand job would help. But then she left him without satisfaction when she was called elsewhere.

Each of the next three days, Bonny visited Billy twice a day, sleeping beside him the last night after yet against pulling on his cock until it exploded on his kinky bush, which Bonny cleaned up with a warm rag. The fourth day she stripped him to the skin and gave him a slow, warm, sensuous rag bath in the middle of the stateroom. Her mouth spend most of the time engaging Billy, whether on his own mouth, his neck, his chest; while other women -- whores mostly -- engaged in oral pleasuring, Bonny had never partaken of it with her husband, and while she wasn't counting it out with Billy, he wasn't getting a blow job from her today.

"Help him dress," Bonny told Rolly, who had come over to Satisfaction with her each trip, even the overnight visit. "He has an appointment with his men."

"The French are planning to destroy Nuevo Nassau!"

Across the main decks of both Andrea and Satisfaction, now anchored and bound together as one in Soalala Bay, the majority of the pirates let their feelings be known about the French -- about any one -- threatening their home.

Bonny continued, speaking about piracy in the Mozambique Channel between the Continent of Africa and the Island of Madagascar. "It has been the cost of doing business for the European states and even the Arab, Persian, and India nations. And while they attack our ships on the open sea in an effort to eliminate us, they have never attacked our ports … our cities … our homes!"

There was another round of negative sounds showing agreement with Bonny's outrage. She was standing on the railing of Andrea switching the direction of her words between ships while ensuring that those aboard both heard every word. She changed the subject for a moment with, "You all know how I feel about slavery. I will not have it on my ship … I will not do business with people who engage in it."

Again, though to a lesser extent, there were cheers. There were at least a dozen former slaves amongst Bonny's crew, and they had an obvious opinion of slavery; the Whites were somewhat split on the subject, whether they'd come from Europe originally or the Caribbean. Some thought it a legal and worthwhile industry, but none of them would ever have supported having slaves on their pirate ship where every man was considered as free and valuable as the next, regardless of color or social status.

Bonny presumed there might have been some former and current slaves amongst the crew of Swan, but she'd never spoke of it with Billy. His former merchant ship had separated from Andrea after Billy had confirmed that the men taking part in the capture of the French vessel were all going to stay with him. Right now, Swan was making her way back to England with a partial cargo and most of her sailors, all of whom had far more coins in their pocket than expected when they left India.

Speaking of the most powerful tribe in Southern Madagascar -- natives who traded slaves for firearms and gunpowder, which, of course, were used to defeat their enemies and capture more slaves -- Bonny continued, "The Betsimisaraka have teamed up with the French to attack Comoro and take as many as 1,000 slave over the next 5 years."

There was a noticeable reaction of shock amongst some of the pirates. Even those who supported slavery understood the effect that would have on a native population with which the pirates had a good working relationship. Often over the years, the people of the Comoro Archipelago -- particularly on the main island of Comoros -- had aided stranded sailors and pirates, and no one listening to this here today wanted to see that change.

"I won't let this happen without a fight," Bonny went on. "First, we have to protect Soalala Bay … the mouth of the harbor … which means 12 pound guns that can reach any French ship that even contemplates blockading Nuevo Nassau. I know where to get these guns--"

She was, of course, speaking about the French schooner run aground to the south. Bonny continued, "--and I know how to get them. Second, we have to support Sereheni--"

Most of the men knew that the main port city on Comoros would likely be the landing point of any French-Betsimisaraka landing. "We much arm our friends there and keep the slavers from even reaching shore."

"What do we get out of this?" one of Bonny's pirates called out. She'd been expecting this question, of course, just as she was expecting the man's follow up, "How does saving a bunch of blackies fill my belly with ale and get my cock shined?"

There was a round of first laughter, then agreeing comments. Bonny answered, "This isn't about saving Africans from slavery. This is about saving our way of life. The French know they can't accomplish this without keeping us trapped in our ports. If they can do that, they can capture Sereheni. And if they can capture Sereheni, the money made by both the French and the natives will be turned on not just keeping our ships at anchor … but at destroying Nuevo Nassau."

The men thought about what Bonny was saying for a moment; it was obvious they were not of one mind. She could have bribed them with gold from Edward Teach's stolen treasure, but Bonny wanted the men to do it because they knew she was right, not because they wanted more coin in their pockets.

Billy listened as the Captain talked about the threat to the pirates livelihood and the life style they had become accustomed to in Nuevo Nassau. One of the things that upset Billy the most was the idea that the French were going to take on so many more slaves.

There had been several former slaves on the Swan. All of them had chosen to follow Billy into the pirate life. They had done so because they respected Billy who had taken them away from their life of slavery. Unfortunately, all but two of them had been killed when they captured the ship now known as Satisfaction.

When the one sailor challenged the Captain, it was everything that Billy could do to keep from jumping down and slitting the man's throat. Two things kept him from doing so; he knew Belle Bonny could handle her own issues and he was not anywhere near full strength due to his shoulder wound.

One thing that he could do, however, was to support the Captain. "Captain, I realize that I am new here, but I must speak my mind. I don't know about your men and their desire to save what you have built for them in Nuevo Nassau, but I do know that it is reprehensible what the French purport to do in taking on so many slaves. If your men do not want to fight with you, I will."

Billy wanted to make it clear to all of the men that loyalty wasn't always about fighting for what you got out of it, there were times when you fought for what your Captain wanted.

He was not naive enough to think that what he had to say would convince any of the men to follow the Captain, but what Billy did think was that it would convince those who were supportive of Belle Bonny that their decision was the proper one.

Those who were not initially supportive of the Captain's ideas soon fell in line when they realized the large majority of the other crew members were going to back their beloved Captain.

Once the decision was made to adopt Belle Bonny's plan, there was still one important decision that had to be made; who was going to captain the Satisfaction? "Captain, who is it that I am going to serve under on the Seduction? We need to have a Captain for her, and your previous plan is not possible due to several key losses."

Billy wanted to show Belle Bonny that he respected her in addition to lusting after her. He was not going to assume that he was going to be the Captain of the Satisfaction, because that would be totally disrespectful to Belle Bonny.

"Captain, I realize that I am new here," Billy spoke up just as the low rumble amongst the two crews was beginning to worry Bonny, "but I must speak my mind."

He spoke of slavery, and vowed that he would fight for her. To be totally honest, Bonny hadn't known if Billy would even speak up, here and now anyway; his life had taken such a change in less than a month, he had a through'n'through bullet wound, and now he'd lost most of the men -- his men -- who had followed him into piracy, while the rest were sailing home on the vessel he formerly captained.

She was delighted to her and see him support her, and even more so when he finished with, "Captain, who is it that I am going to serve under on the Seduction? We need to have a Captain for her, and your previous plan is not possible due to several key losses."

The mentioning of who would captain of Seduction was only half of what now had the two crews mumbling between them; the deaths of so many men had been weighing heavily on the pirates as it had been their largest one day loss since leaving the employ of Edward Teach.

"Death and injury benefits will be paid out per Andrea's Charter, even if they occurred aboard Satisfaction," Bonny called out, telling them nothing unexpected as that was the Code. Regarding the casualties who hadn't perished and gesturing to the new vessel, she continued, "Those of you injured in the fight to take this beauty who cannot return to the life will be taken care of, here in Nuevo Nassau … or, if you wish to return home, to your families, friends, or simply your former lives … I will see to it that you have safe passage and a story that will get you past the Authorities."

There were some head nods amongst the men at the show of responsibility for the casualties, whether dead and simply injured. She looked amongst them and spoke in a solemn tone about the men they had lost, men whose names Bonny knew without hesitation: Mister Connor Read serving as the new ship's future but temporary Captain; Mister Wilkens who had stepped up to Andrea's First Mate in Connor's absence; Quartermaster Penny Pincher who had only perished two days ago from some unseen injury within and was still supervising the replenishment of the two ships from his bed on shore; Mister Unger whose attack on the pursuing French schooner had left it bobbing helpless in the sea but who had taken a rifle shot through the forehead moments later; and another 3 officers and 18 men deaths and 8 debilitating injuries between the two vessels.

"We must set about shoring up the defenses of Soalala Bay immediately, and this will take up at least two weeks," Bonny went on. "We must get to Comoros before the French, who I am told are still awaiting a ship from France--"

There was a sudden and loud sound at the speaking of the European country's name, the majority of Andrea's crew turning their heads to dramatically spit on the decks, followed by a short but playful laughter. Bonny couldn't remember how it had begun, but her men had years earlier begun hocking a lugee at the speaking of the word France. Not French, not Frenchies, not France's possessive, but just France. It made for a bit of a mess on the deck, 60 or more men -- less today, of course -- suddenly spitting on the deck, but Bonny still couldn't help but laugh at it now when they did it.

"We have seven, perhaps eight weeks until we have to sail for Comoros," she continued. "In that time, we have injuries to be healed here in Nuevo Nassau … we have 12 pounders to be salvaged on a shoal to the south … we have men to be recruited to fill two crews--"

That was going to be the hardest part, of course. They needed at least another 60 men to fill the crews for the labor and the battle to come. She looked directly at Billy before then back to the her sweeping address of the men.

"--and, of course, we have a selection to be made. Who will be the Captain of my new ship … our new ship … Satisfaction?"

Almost simultaneously, more than twenty men called out that they would, then erupted into laughter and some playful pushing and shoving. Bonny waited for them to settle, then finished, "That is not a choice that need be made today … and it is not a choice that I will make myself. You know how this works … and in the days and weeks to come, you will make the decision … the right decision."

Bonny again glanced at Billy before continuing, "In the meantime … for his heroism in sinking the Spanish warship..."

When she paused, several of the men cheered out. Bonny continued, "For his leadership in capturing this very ship after our good friend Mister Read was killed..."

This time the cheer came from far more mouths and was far more louder. "...I am assigning Mister Billy Murray as First Mate of Satisfaction."

More cheers, though, Bonny took note of a couple of silent men who she'd already heard had an interest in being the new ship's top man. She ignored them for now, directing her words at Billy this time. "Mister Murray … while you are recuperating from your broken wing, you poor helpless little bird--"

Bonny was interrupted by any manner of sounds that were supposed to sound like the birds of the world. She smiled and laughed, then went on, "You will oversee these men as they work on preparing--"

A voice called out loudly, likely the same man who'd challenged Bonny before, "How are we getting paid if we are not taking prizes?"

There was a rumble of other men who were likely thinking the same thing. Bonny was ready for this thought. She nodded to Rolly, who was standing on the Quarterdeck just behind her. He flipped open a small chest, reached inside, pulled out a handful of coins -- just coppers and some small silvers -- and literally showered the deck of Andrea. A cheer and rush to claim them ensued as the man repeated the action for the adjacent Satisfaction; the throw wasn't that far as the ships were tied together, yet still Bonny looked down to see several of the coins plopping into Soalala Bay, never to be seen or spent again.

"You will be paid!" Bonny hollered, nodding to Rolly to repeat the coin tosses to each of the decks again. "Now, get to work!"

She stepped down from where she was, watched the men playfully pushing each other around in a quest for drinking and whoring money, then looked to Billy and finger-gestured him to come across the connecting brow. She headed for her quarters as the fun behind them continued. When Billy joined up to her, they spoke of which men to put in charge of which jobs; there was so much to do and so few men with whom to work.

"Lady Clara believes there are at least 30 skilled men in Nuevo Nassau who are not currently contracted to crews," Bonny told him, picking up a scroll the Madam had provided him. "Another 60 or so who might jump their current ships, though, not all of those boats are currently in port. Still another 50 or so good, hard working, strong men who would jump at a chance for well paid work … building the emplacements for the guns at the mouth's harbor, for instance."

She looked to Billy for a moment, contemplating what she wanted to say to him next but feared exposing: Edward Teach's treasure. Billy had heard the stories by now from the men, but even the men weren't entirely certain of the size and value of the dispersed fortune. She told him she had the gold and silver necessary to get all the work done, but then added, "I think it would be better, though … to take another prize to pay for some of this."

She lifted another piece of parchment and slid it across her desk to him. It was a Bill of Departure, speaking of an English schooner that had left Liverpool headed for India. "There is a man aboard this ship … a man of wealth and power … and if we were to find this ship and take this man … the ransom would be enough to buy us two more ships! It is scheduled to replenish at an English port on the east coast of Madagascar in ten days..."

Bonny had stood by now and was curling around the table. She sat in Billy's lap, pressing her breasts to his upper chest while her mouth found his own for a long, slow, passionate kiss. When she pulled back, she whispered to him, "I want you to finish here in Nuevo Nassau while I take her. She's not a war ship, and she will surrender without a fight. I will take this man, bring him back here … and begin to put together a New Republic of Pirates that will rival anything about which Blackbeard had yanked his crank while imagining himself a Pirate King."

She pressed her mouth to his again and rolled her lower body to enjoy the feel of Billy's belly against her yearning womanhood. She wanted to strip them bare right here, right now, and fuck the man's brains out. But Bonny had set requisites for their first time, and even more important than stopping the French to the northwest or capturing this Englishman to the southeast, Bonny had to stick to her guns on this.

The next few weeks were a whirlwind of activity in and around the Andrea, the Satisfaction and Nuevo Nassau. Both ships had returned from the mission to confiscate their new ship with some damage. Although, some of the repairs had been completed before Belle Bonny's return, there had been more to be done.

In addition to the ship repairs, there was the matter of hiring new crew members. Belle Bonny invited Billy, as the First Mate of the Satisfaction to be a part of the selection process.

Some of those chosen had some experience in the pirate life. Others were pirate virgins, but all of them had experience with weapons; including pistols, rifles and canon. Both Belle Bonny and Billy had agreed that was important because it would cut down on training time.

The harbor was being reinforced; 8 of the 12 inch guns were salvaged and were being installed at new stone fortifications at the mouth of the harbor. This protection would be key to protecting the way of life that existed in Nuevo Nassau.

Bonny was anxious to get underway in her voyage to take a prisoner from the English ship. Billy urged her to be patient, and to make sure that they had the right crew on board.

They spent an extra day choosing crew members. The last man chosen was a young one, Gerald Smith. British by birth, at least on his father's side. Gerald was born to a woman from Nuevo Nassau after a one night fling with a merchant sailor from England.

Bonny initially had some concerns about his age, but Billy was in favor of bringing him on board due to his prowess with pistol and rifle. "The young man can help us in places where some of the older men are not capable."

With the crew finally chosen, Bonny made up her mind that she was going to depart for Southern Madagascar with Andrea and both old and new crew. She was anxious to create her New Republic of Pirates.

Bonny found herself becoming more and more impressed with Billy Murray with every passing day. He proved himself to be more a manager of men than anyone she'd known since Edward Teach, who at one point in time had had direct control of 12 vessels and the loyalty of the captains of that and half again; it was thought that at the height of his power and influence, if he had asked for it, Blackbeard could have pulled together a force of more than 60 pirate ships and over 15,000 men, both sailing and marching pirates.

Bonny didn't think that she and/or Billy could ever achieve that sort of power here in her New Republic of Pirates, but she would be happy to one day have control or influence over 6 ships and enough men to crew them into battle.

The work on securing Soalala Bay was moving along faster than Bonny could have dreamed. The path out to the mouth of the bay was dug down two feet and rebuilt into a real road with log under planks and crushed gravel. It would, of course, be repeatedly buried by the sands shifting in the never ending wind. But the solid foundation and the markers pounded into the ground would allow men to get to the guns within minutes of being signaled by the 24 hour Watch Bonny planned to institute

"I leave tomorrow," she told Billy the night before Andrea was ready to return to the sea. They were once again in the drape hidden table on the mezzanine level of The Hungry Lemur, where Lady Clara's new Indian chef had prepared the pair a lavish meal of foods Bonny barely recognized. Repeatedly, she pointed to the offerings, looked to Billy -- who had spend months in the cook's former land while awaiting to sail home to England -- and asked him variations of questions like, "Is this for me to eat, or is it waiting to eat me?"

A young man passed by a slight gap in the draperies, and Bonny called out for him to join them. His name was Gerald Smith, and compared to the others he looked like little more than a boy. But while he may have looked 14, he reassured Bonny that he was nearly 19 and well educated and experienced for even that age.

"Experienced enough to sail with me tomorrow?" Bonny asked, obviously surprising the young man and Billy both. Young Gerald had been assigned to work with Satisfaction's gun crews, but after Bonny had seen just how skilled he was, she'd decided she needed him aboard Andrea. "We leave at 6 bells, so be aboard."

After the newest pirate in her crew departed, Bonny stood and moved around the semi-circular, pillow-padded bench to curl up into Billy's arms. She pressed her mouth to his in a series of passionate kisses while slipping her hands down inside his breeches to find his cock. She purred, "I will dirty your unders again if you wish … First Mate Murray."

If he wanted, she would stroke him to orgasm again as she had out in his bed on Satisfaction that night weeks ago; if he chose not, she would simply kiss him and toy with his manhood until either he changed his mind or demanded she discontinue the teasing. Either way, she would ultimately tell him, "Stay in my room tonight. I'm returning to the ship to slip out before the town knows I'm gone, but … I want everyone here to see me lead you to my bed … even if we aren't going to lay together in it … yet."

##################

Bonny scanned the deck of the merchant ship, Retriever, and was certain she was going to puke. It wasn't supposed to happen like this, she told herself once again as she looked at the multitude of bodies; some were bleeding out, some were missing limbs, but most would surely never again move about on their own two feet.

The ship had signaled its surrender within moments of the pirate ship raising The Black to its main mast. Bonny had expected that, of course; Retriever had only four 6 inch guns down each side, no match for Andrea; a ship of this type with such an important man aboard should have been escorted, but as Bonny had learned from her sources, no such warship had been available at the time that its patron had demanded it leave. It could have picked up a protector in Cape Town, but -- again -- Bonny had thankfully recently learned that that had not happened either.

The crew of Andrea put on the typical pirate boarding show of force, with loud voices and lots of weapons; some of the men liked to decorate their faces or bodies to look like wild men or even wild animals, performances that in the past had caused salty seamen to piss or even shit their pants. The crew of Retriever initially did just as Bonny would have expected: they kept in view, they disposed of their weapons, and they began to assemble on their knees in submission.

And then … fuck!

A shot rang out and one of the pirate's dropped. A second shot rang out from an unknown location and blood sprayed all over Bonny's face and clothing. Within seconds, mayhem erupted across the deck of the ship. Bonny wouldn't initially understand why the crew of Retriever so eagerly joined the fray; a survivor later would explain that most of them had been former or current Royal Navy seamen who'd been heading to India to man a crew-less warship awaiting them.

Bonny had lost 8 men in the fight to death; 10 more would never sail with her again, even though most would live to see Nuevo Nassau soon. She herself had regained her wits quickly and joined the battle, killing at least three. The fight wasn't the thing on her mind when it was finally over, though. She was pissed, but only because the prize's captain had allowed this to happen. She found him amongst the living, brought him to the main deck to look at his dead or writhing men, then kicked the back of his legs to drop him to his knees and ran her sword across his throat, screaming at him, "It didn't have to go this way!"

Without cleaning the blood from her face, Bonny followed a quartet of men down into the hold to look for their target. They found gold and silver meant for purchasing goods at the ship's destination, as expected; when they got to the passenger cabins, they found 3 women and 4 men … but none of them were the man for whom Andrea had set out to find.

Bonny had the passengers hauled to the main deck one at a time and pushed to their butts amidst the mass of bloodied bodies. She screamed questions at each on of them, one at a time, in an attempt to learn about the Englishman; one after another told her the same, that the man had disembarked in Cape Town due to a fever that required hospitalization, but -- with the Royal Navy men required in India -- the ship had sailed on without him.

The last passenger to be brought up to the main deck was a beautiful young thing from whom Bonny didn't expect to hear anything different than she'd already heard from the others. Then...

"My name is Agatha Howard," the barely 18 year old and yet very confident and not in the least frightened girl said. "I am the daughter of Sir Richard Howard, Lord of Marlbury … and if you harm me in any way, my father will bring down upon you the force of the entire English Navy and Royal Marines."

Bonny was absolutely shocked; this girl was the teen aged daughter of the man for whom she'd been on the hunt. Bonny had begun to smile already, and when the girl finished her threat, she began laughing, as did the crew of Andrea which had gathered to watch the interrogations. The girl did her best to keep up her show of strength and confidence, though, whether it was real or not Bonny couldn't tell. The laughter neared maniacal levels, and Bonny finally gave a gesture for the men to calm down.

"Take her to my stateroom," Bonny ordered. Then, looking about for the scariest looking man to do so, she found Young Gerald, who had a slash of red across the front of his white blouse from where a man -- Bonny's or not, she couldn't know -- had had his head clean sliced off with a sword. Had the newest of the pirate's done it? Again, Bonny couldn't know that either. "Young Gerald! Take Miss Howard to my quarters! Get her food and water and anything she might require to be comfortable, up to and yet not including an English naval vessel full of scary Marines."

There was another round of laughter, and Bonny gestured the young man to get to work. For the rest of the pirates, Bonny put them to work transferring the merchant ship's treasury and gold and silver furnishings, as well as the best of the food and drink. A joyous call brought Bonny down into the lower level of the hold, where they found six cases of long guns -- including some sniper long guns with rifled barrels -- and another two with as-of-yet unused scatter guns. There was more than sufficient ammunition and powder to be taken as well.

It would take until noon the next day to transfer all the goods, including most of the merchant ship's cannons, which -- while small -- would be perfect for guarding the harbor on Comoros.

Billy resisted Belle Bonny as she sat in his lap and stroked his cock in his pants. It was hard to do, but he was going to wait for her. He was going to wait until they shared the same bad.... intimately.

He slept in her bed that night, but not before taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately and telling her that she needed to come back to him. "We will share this bed and any other bed you desire Captain."

Gerald did as the Captain told him and took the young girl to her stateroom. He had her take a seat and he stood by the door to await further orders from Belle Bonny. Gerald admired the beauty of the young girl, but was careful to make sure that she did not notice him looking at her.

She started to say something about how they were all going to regret this, but Gerald cut her off. "I would advise you to stop with your threats and remain quiet. Based on what I know about the Captain, she does not take kindly to threats, and it would be a shame to stain your dress with the blood from a scar that you will never be able to forget."

Waiting for the Captain was difficult. After what Gerald had said to the woman, it gt very quiet in the Captain's quarters. He could tell that the woman wanted to say something, but was probably still pondering his words. She obviously came from a powerful, and out-spoken family.

Agatha glared at the young sailor -- the pirate! -- after he chastised her and told her to be silent. She had enough people in her life telling her to be silent; it was about all her father said to her these days.

She turned away from him, studied the quarters, and then started a very slow prowl about the place. Each time she contemplated reaching for something, she looked to the young man at the door for his reaction; each and every time he quickly diverted his eyes, obviously studying her. Agatha wanted to know, what he guarding her or ogling her? Although she was in multiple layers of under and outer clothing, Agatha's dress still had a tendency of showing off the curves of her modest bosom, her very narrow waist, and her generous hips and ass. It was nothing like the thin, curve revealing clothes of the whores of The Hungry Lemur, but then … the man at the door was a man, Agatha was a woman, and she figured that all he cared about what that the had a warm, wet hole between her thighs into which he could put his lonely cock.

She may have been barely 18, but Agatha knew all she had to know about men, women, and the interactions between them. Sure, she was a virgin; sure, she'd never kissed a boy; sure, she'd never seen a man naked, except for that one time she and her cousin caught the stable boys skinny dipping in the pond on her father's estate, but then that had been from almost a hundred yards away and the only thing indecent that they'd been able to see were the dark masses of hair at the meeting of the boy's legs.

Still, she wasn't naïve, and that knowledge about the world that so many other girls her age didn't have made Agatha brave. She continued her wandering about Bonny's quarters, checked the man at the door again, then snatched up a tossed-aside bustier and held it up before her for the young man to see.

"Is this yours?" she teased with a devilish smirk. "It looks a bit too small for you."

She smiled wider, held the bustier up in front her own body, then set it aside. Again wandering, she said, "I've never heard of a female pirate before, let alone a female pirate Captain. I always thought a captain had to have a sword."

She looked to the young man and said suggestively, "You understand what I mean when I say have a sword … right?"

Claudia delighted in the young man's response, continuing her wandering. She opened a book, then shuffled some papers. "Can your Captain read these? I was always told pirates were illiterate peasants who'd found they couldn't make a living farming wheat or patching sails."

She hesitated again, just to see if he would respond, before finally asking, "What's your name, pirate?"

Gerald listened as the young woman taunted him. She talked about the bustier. She talked about the Captain not having a sword. She asked if his Captain was illiterate. Gerald took it all in stride.

He knew from the way she was dressed that she came from privilege. He was certain that she was accustomed to putting people down to make herself feel better. That was what the wealthy did.

"I hope you are enjoying yourself. I am sure that you will not share those thoughts with the Captain when she comes in. That is, unless you want to end up like the captain of your ship did. I believe you saw the end result of The Captain's use of a sword on him. I would say that her sword was more powerful than his."

He watched her for a reaction. "Oh, and by the way, don't make any stupid moves that would make me have to do something to hurt you. I have seen you looking around the cabin. Anything threatening would result in harm to you, and it would be a shame to have to hurt the beautiful woman in any way."

"I hope you are enjoying yourself," Gerald said before describing what Bonny had done to the captain of the other ship.

Agatha's stomach rolled a bit at that memory. She'd seen dead people before, but never like this. Her father had wanted her to understand that criminals -- specifically those from the peasantry -- had to be suitably and appropriately punished for their crimes, so he'd taken her to a hanging when she was only 9 and then a beheading when she was 14. Of the latter, Agatha had been able to divert her eyes before the lowering of the ax without her father catching her, and even though she'd had a clear view of the body, severed head, and pool of spreading blood, she'd been nearly 50 yards away in the window of the 2nd floor apartment of family friends who had invited to lunch and viewing of the event.

But today … well, that had been horrific. And while she'd held in her dismay and challenged the pirate captain, inside Agatha had wanted to cry out for the lives of those brave men who'd fought to protect her.

"Oh, and by the way," he went on, "don't make any stupid moves that would make me have to do something to hurt you."

As he talked, Agatha contemplated the sort of stupid move she could make with what she already had at her ready. A moment later footsteps approached quickly, the door burst open, and the female pirate surged in. She looked between the two, smiled, and asked, "Are we all playing nice, children?"

Still bloodied from the fight, the Captain moved quickly toward the girl, announcing, "My name is Belle Bonny, and you, girl, are to be my hostage--"

Even as she was still talking, Bonny grasped the girl, pulled her backwards, and tossed her onto the bed. "-- until a time at which--"

As Agatha started screaming and lashing out without positive result, Bonny shoved a hand up under the girl's dress and began searching around, still talking, "--a family member or other person of authority--"

A look of discovery filled the Captain's face, and she moved away from the girl and tossed something through the air to the your pirate. It was a small dagger in a sheath that had been strapped to the outside of the girl's right thigh with expensive, lacy ribbons. Agatha's Chamber Maid back in England had insisted she take and wear it during the journey, not for protection from pirates specifically but from men in general. The slightly older woman had warned while demonstrating jabbing and slicing techniques, "The only thing they like more than a pretty girl's virtue is their own cock. If they try to get yours … take theirs."

Agatha struggled to get back to her feet, screaming bloody murder at the woman who had almost raped her with hands that had ventured all the way up into her crotch in a search for weapons. Bonny ignored her for a moment, then reached out to push the girl right between her tits, sending her back to the bed once more.

"Shut up, girl," Bonny demanded, "Or I'm going to let this lad perform a more detailed search for weapons that will entail stripping you out of that beautiful dress."

Agatha's eyes grew to the size of saucers and her mouth fell open. After she regained herself, she slowly and quietly stood again, smoothed her dress back into place, and asked, "What do you mean, Captain … when you say I am to be your hostage?"

She knew what that meant, of course; she'd heard the stories of how the rich and powerful were often taken in exchange for coin, deeds, or favors. She simply wanted to know the specifics of her current situation. The Captain didn't answer, though, instead looking to the sailor and saying, "Young Gerald, you are dismissed. I will need you to watch our new friend here tonight, so … straight to your hammock for some sleep. I will have the watch wake you when the time comes."

Bonny shooed Gerald out, and when the door was closed had a heart to heart conversation with the girl...

########################

The pillaging of the ship had gone much smoother and much father than Bonny had expected, even with the loss of life and injuries amongst her crew. They'd put the other ship's survivors to work with the promise that they and the rest of the passengers would be allowed to leave unharmed; once Andrea was loaded, Bonny offered freedom and passage to the four African slaves amongst Retriever's crew -- they hadn't fought the pirates, of course -- and all of them took the offer.

At six bells, the Watch shook Gerald awake, telling him, "It's your turn with the little girl. You're the least senior, so you're last. She's gonna be a big sloppy, but that's only 'cause my cock is so big and I filled her up."

He chuckled softly as he walked away, wondering whether or not the young pirate would believe that the other dozens of men had taken their turn inside the English girl's pussy.

Gerald would find Agatha fully clothes and sound asleep on a relatively comfortable bed that had been made for her in the brig. There was no reason for the young sailor to guard the girl, as she was locked behind steel; he was there more to attend to her needs should she awake.

This, the deck below berthing and Bonny's stateroom, was devoid of any other pirates and was instead packed fairly tightly with the merchant ship's pillaged cargo. A wooden chair hanging on ropes from the overhead offered Gerald a place to sit while he watched Agatha.

Gerald sat outside of the cell and watched the captive girl sleeping, her breasts rising and falling with her every breath. She was beautiful, and she was also way above his realm. He thought for a moment of what it would be like to be with a woman of such means, but, as his mind wandered, she awoke.

"The Captain took very good care of you, I see. I cannot believe that she put such a nice bed into the brig. She really must want to make sure that you have the best possible experience while you are held captive here."

He watched as Agatha collected herself. It was obvious she was trying to remember exactly where she was. When it came to her, she looked at Gerald with contempt, but said nothing. He asked her if there was anything he could get for her, but she continued to maintain her silence.

"Fine, sit there and go thirsty and hungry. I will be back in a minute after I get my breakfast." He went to the galley to get some grub, and returned to the brig, with a plate for Angela. "Here you go. I am sure it is nothing like the food you are accustomed to, but it is all there is to offer."

Agatha's mind was foggy when consciousness returned, and as she sat up to the unusual environment in which she found herself, she was horrifically disappointed to find that it wasn't all a dream. Ironically, she didn't find herself disappointed to find the pirate who the Captain had called Young Gerald in a swinging chair just beyond the cell door. Still, a lack of disappointment wasn't exactly happiness, so she just glared at him in silence as he stared back.

When he began to depart for some food, Agatha stood quickly and moved to the cell's flat lathe metalwork. "Please...! Please, I'd ... I could use something to eat ... Gerald. Is it permissible for me to call you so familiarly by your given name … Gerald."

Agatha was doing her best to flirt without looking as though she was flirting. When he returned with food, she showed her appreciation with another, "Thank you, Gerald."

He gave her a plate of food that -- like the bed -- wasn't up to the standards to which she was accustomed, either at home in England or on the merchant ship from which she was plucked. He also gave her a flagon of very weak ale, explaining that it wasn't meant to intoxicate but was aboard because it was safer to drink than even fresh water.

"Do you like being a blood thirsty pirate … Gerald?" Agatha asked after a few bites. Her tone was even and polite, even if the accusations weren't. "Do you like murdering and pillaging … and raping?"

Gerald smiled at the prisoner. She thought she was so high and mighty. He was sure that she didn't realize that he knew that she was insulting him with her words, despite using the sweet tone of voice. Well, at least he was on the right side of the bars.

"Well, miss, I must admit that I do enjoy working for my money. I have never had anything handed to me, so, I must labor to get what is mine. Those who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth deserve to have that spoon taken by someone who is much less fortunate."

He sat back down on the seat and watched as she played with her food and sipped the ale. After her taste of the ale, the face she made was priceless. "Not up to your usual standards, miss? Maybe when we get home, we will be able to find you something that you find more pleasing to the palate."

Agatha obviously was not fond of having someone respond to her the way that he was, however, Gerald wasn't through. "As for the raping, well, I do not engage in that. I do not need to. There are plenty of women both my age and older who desire to share a bed with me. Why would I want to force myself on someone that didn't want to be with me?"

"Those who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth deserve to have that spoon taken by someone who is much less fortunate."

"I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, sir!" Agatha practically spat back at Gerald. She had of course, in respects to someone like the pirate. But her family was not nearly as well off as most people believed. In fact, her father had very nearly been bankrupt when he married again; he was now sharing his titles with a title-less woman who had had money, and even so, he'd found it necessary to relocate to India to attempt to rebuild his reputation.

She plopped back onto her bed to eat but only ended up pushing the food about on the metal platter. She ignored his comments about the meal being up to her standards, but when he spoke about having a line of girls waiting for him back at port, she smirked devilishly and wondered aloud, "I wonder if you will be able to afford better looking whores once your Captain shares the ransom with you and your mates."

There was a laugh from the forward ladder that accessed this deck. Belle Bonny called aft to the girl, then to the boy, "That was a good one, I liked that. Better looking whores. Young Gerald, why don't you let our little chickadee out of her cage to come topside for some fresh air. There's something I want her to see."

Agatha hopped up with eagerness at the thought of getting out of the cell. No sooner had Gerald opened the gate and let her out then a sudden, strong breeze caused the vessel to list suddenly to port, unbalancing Agatha and causing her to end up right in the pirate's arms. As inappropriate as it was for him to be holding her that way, Agatha did nothing to cease the embrace, instead looking up into the head-taller man's eyes for a moment, saying, "Thank you … Gerald … but … you can let me go now."

When she reached the top of the ladder, Agatha had high hopes that Retriever was still alongside Andrea and that by some miracle, she might be able to talk the Captain into allowing her to return to her rightful boat and her voyage to British India. But there was no sign of the boat; she hurried up another ladder, to the quarterdeck and looked aft, finally finding the pillaged vessel.

"What's wrong with her?" she asked when she saw Bonny near. Looking back to the ship, she asked, "There is something wrong with her. What have you done?"

"We cut some of the braces and stays," Bonny answered, not expecting the girl to understand what that meant.

"But she'll be left adrift and unable to raise sail!" Agatha objected, launching into an explanation of how cutting those lines would weaken the structural support of the masts such that any sails filling with wind might very well cause one or more of the masts to collapse. "Why have you done this? You have doomed them to dying out here. It would have been better to just kill them-"

"Settle down, girl!" Bonny snapped. She explained that the crew could get the rigging repaired and the boat underway in less than 12 hours, adding, "Plenty enough time for us to be over the horizon and changing course so that they can't follow us."

Agatha continue to argue another minute or two about how the damage hadn't been necessary before Bonny cut in. "How is it you know so much about the rigging of a sailing vessel that size?"

The girl hesitated, looking back to Gerald for a moment. She wondered whether answering the question truthfully would impress him or simply cause him to think she was even more high and mighty that he already thought her to be. She looked to Bonny and proudly, she answered, "I have been studying intensely the operation and workings of square rigged boats since I was a little girl. My da-- My father … owned three such boats that ran the routes from England to Africa to the Caribbean and back. I sometimes sailed from London to Paris or Amsterdam on one of our ketches. I also stood the quarterdeck of the Retriever … even took the helm on occasion. I could captain this ship as well as you do … if given the chance."

Belle Bonny's face filled with joyous surprise as she listened to the girl. She looked to Gerald, wondering if he had had any idea of the girl's claims. Finally, Bonny stepped back, made a gesture, and called out, "Officer of the Deck!"

"Aye, Captain!" came the response.

"Miss Howard has the Conn," Bonny commanded. To Agatha, she said, "Take us home … Captain."

The OOD's eyes widened in surprise. After a moment of silence as he tried to figure out what the joke was, the OOD asked, "Captain...?"

"You heard me," Bonny said, heading for the ladder descending to the main deck. "Miss Howard has the Conn. Set course for Soalala Bay and Nuevo Nassau, please. I'll be in my stateroom taking a nap. Young Gerald! Watch over our new Captain, and make sure she doesn't get us run aground or boarded by pirates, will you?"

And with that, Belle Bonny turned her ship over to her 18 year old hostage.
