It does!
@Cat said this was where to come for a positive mental attitude boost and she wasn't lying 🥰

This place is good for all of us! If we all give a little bit of excess happy energy and joy - then we would be able to boost eachother whenever it was needed..

Oh, and have a jolly good time as well, silly happiness is bloody contagious! 😆🥰

True.. when the magpies joined them a little later, I had to give up.. it was simply too silly and cute.

So, I had to spend a lot of time checking up on the birds - and laugh! 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛
You must have the non-murderous crows.

There's a field near me where they all gather at dusk - like 100s if not 1,000s of them - before they fly up into the trees to roost for the night. They make an awfully loud racket and I can see where Steven King got his inspiration!

I always find horror funny, it's so unbelievable and over the top that I struggle to get into them.

I was way too young when I read the book, and tried to watch the film.. now I just cannot stand sitting still, looking at a screen.. Watching people say some rehearsed lines.. it is just.. well, it gives me a strange kind of uncanny valley feeling, it is rather uncomfortable.

So, I have not seen any film for years.. except when my daughters have forced me to sit with them.
But on my own? Ugh.. more than a decade since I just sat and enjoyed a film. 😅

Yup, I am a bit strange. 🙈

So the movie date night is out then?

interesting... i saw some photos of Hoodies recently and they look more Magpie than Crow. I've seen them, so know they are big, but a Carrion Crow seems larger. The Magpies i know don't like Crows, but maybe Hoodies aren't such a threat.

Magpies aren't as gregarious, out of the Corvids it's them and Jays that don't really mix, with others or others of their own. Magpies tend to stay in pairs and are territorial, but mixing in winter if they need to, but on shared ground. Jackdaws and Rooks form large groups at roost and Crows can do too.

Most Corvids like to play - some i know play games with me.

the hoodies in the video could be using the snow and ice to clean parasites, freeze them off the feathers. again, very intelligent.

More De Maurier for me.
