I should have clarified - Only after you’ve finished work and at a reasonable time! Back in the day, people finishing night shift at the Hospital would go to the Market Porter pub, which had an early licence for the market workers, to help them sleep.

I should have clarified - Only after you’ve finished work and at a reasonable time! Back in the day, people finishing night shift at the Hospital would go to the Market Porter pub, which had an early licence for the market workers, to help them sleep.

After nights is perfectly acceptable, I used to have a rum and coke when I got in from nights, helps you switch off and sleep.

My brother however looked at me like I had a problem!
