Uh ohz, looks like I’m due for yet another unsolicited story!!
First time up in Zion (National Park). Absolutely breathtaking. I was able to view it in an off month, fair amount of freedom. When I went back up around the top end (just beyond the tunnel), I noticed this oddly dressed young woman in a mothballed dress with a leather jacket on, heading up for the hike.
WTF was that, I thought.
So I park and wander down that top end short hike. And when I reach the end, there she is above me - with mountain goats climbing about. She’s just sitting up there, being... something hella interesting to me on pretty much every level.
I wander up there, not to hit on her, it’s simply where I wanted to go (truth). She notices me and wants some. I go over.
Within far less than 20 minutes I discovered I’m talking to a fuck-family escapee. She’s almost even blunt about it. Only, likely, she’s blunt about it cuz she doesn’t get out enough to know not to mention certain things. And I’m standing there going… ‘I am completely out of my element. I do not know how to respond to this.’
And she's all smiles. She's well ahead of it all now.
I wanted to plant her on the back of a goat and show her what outside of the family might be like.
She was wearing a fucking black leather jacket on top of some cowpoke crap and literally BEGGING me to release her from her former fencing. It’s completely what I’m GO for. “How can I offer you this so absolutely new and you not TAKE it?” What the fuck, mate?
Some shit. Yer just not prepared for.
