Quick update and a few pics I took yesterday before all hell broke loose.

First a little back story- my Beastie is an ASSHOLE. An almost 90 pound, year old, Dogo Argentino pit bull mix ASSHOLE! I love him to the depths of my soul, but some days I really wish I didn’t.

So my fabulous hubs takes beastie for a run every night on the skateboard. I’ve tried to dissuade my oh so helpful hubs from doing this as I know it will result in disaster, because I’m clairvoyant like that. Last night the beastie sees his girlfriend across the street and makes a sharp left turn to go say hello. Right in front of the skateboard. Hubs goes flying, lands head first on the concrete before landing on his shoulder, then his back and ass.

So... a trip to the ER and we have a concussion and a fractured pelvis. I’ll be playing nurse for a bit. I’ll be back when I can. In the meantime... enjoy my nerdy ass.

Can’t blame the horny dog, whiff of the chance of some doggin is not to be missed in his eyes.
Hope hubby recovers quickly, pelvis breaks are not good.

I know you will ask why I’m not happy with them, so I go ahead and spill it. The lighting was a pain, I had to over edit them to get the reflections in my glasses tamed and the weird shadows off my face. While I enjoy creative editing, I don’t enjoy the tedious stuff like that. Next time I go to get new glasses AR coating will be mandatory! Insurance coverage be damned!

Getting the light off the camera axis can help, but then you'll need to balance the shadows with another light or reflector. In any case, the edits look like a beautiful success and maybe you should just do you and I'll shut my damn mouth
