Wow, beautiful. Stevens Pass or Snoqualmie? Great scene there and perfect day for the hike

Just the north shore of a lake near me. I don’t like driving far for my hikes, thankfully I live real close to some beautiful places like this.

That is very cool and imagine where you live quite peaceful. I am heading to a place this weekend that is similar but more on rivers.

That is beautiful Moochie. Yes. Today and maybe tomorrow are going to be our last nice days for a while. So we have to try and enjoy them.
Granted. It was cold this morning.

Great shot Sassy and yes cool this morning for us. 38 degrees where I am at

I was in the Vancouver area yesterday. It was gorgeous out there. The drive back home was decent also. I wish I would have taken some pictures.

I assume you mean Vancouver Washington?
Yeah I am thinking of a road trip soon also. But now, it'll mostly be rain and more rain this week. Today I have Acupuncture, so I can't do it today. When it's suppose to be decent.
I kind of want to head East and see the leaves.

The rain is coming down side ways now. Crazy weather. I'm impressed we've kept our power. Normally a bear farts, and we lose it.

I am still hoping that we get more weather than we have seen so far. The forecast is looking like it may build overnight, and into tomorrow. But so far all I have seen here is about 45 knots. That is only barely above average for a winter blow. The sideways rain however, provides an excellent excuse for house projects, nesting, and being cozy.

It's been an amazingly lazy day today. 😍 I knew it was predicted to mostly stay off shore. But. I do enjoy wind.

Same here. Do love the wind. Especially when I don't have to be out in it....
The southeast quadrant of a storm is typically going to be the strongest port of it around this region. The eye of the cyclone appears to be on track to make landfall a bit north of Tofino. Meaning that southern Vancouver island and western Washington could face the brunt of the wind. Luckily around here, the Olympics soak up the brunt of whatever comes in from offshore.
The next week or so appears to be a parade or fronts, of varying intensity though. Reminds me of September about ten years ago. Hold onto your hat.

Meanwhile in the area I was in, it did almost everything but hail and snow.
We even had the power flicker a few times before the rain finally let up and we saw sun.

I went out there in that mess and tried to do some deliveries.
I called it quits at 3. Too much slipping and sliding in a vehicle that is not the best for snow.

I'm near the water, so we typically don't get much snow, but I'd say we have over six inches. Have not seen a plow so the roads are in pretty bad shape - particularly all the hills.

Based on the forecast, it appears it will be around for a couple days.
