There are many more entertaining dates than that….

Even in the running away from hurting, there is hurting. In opening unprotected to the experience that is enslaving you with its torment, there is the willingness to be free. Are you willing? Or do you just want to wait until the world finally gets it and does it your way?
~ Gangaji

You cant ever get everything you want. It is impossible. Luckily, there is another option: You can learn to control your mind, to step outside of this endless cycle of desire and aversion. You can learn not to want what you want, to recognize desires but not be controlled by them.

So is the fucking weather forecast. Of course, for that, I blame Trump and go global warming.

I read one of his books back in the 80s. I don’t remember what the title was. It might have been Mein Kampf. Funny, I thought it was about taking over New York apartment buildings and shit. Who knew?

A fistful of Husqvarna model 46 rifles have surfaces, all chamber for the 9.3 x 57 Swedish potato cartridge. Fine for moose, they say. Nice looking rifles - I like my 6.5 x 55 Swede, and it shoots like a charm. Potato cartridges seem to be hard to find, and it's something where I don't see having to deal with angry Swedish mooses at my house. Either one of them. Wat don't need an(other) orphan cartridge in the line-up.

Looks like a case o' NATO for February, at least from this angle.
