Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

It's no secret Minnesotans have put together a fairly sophisticated informal network for tracking ICE operations and early warning. Something to be proud of. If Flanagan is involved, all the more reason for one to vote for her governorship.

If the morons continue to escalate there will be more in an early grave.

In a very real sense this all feels like the opening rounds in a 2nd Civil War.
The idiots are driven by the media and some mysterious Signal chat. They do not have the ability to wage war. Only distract the union for the actual business at hand.
The anti's in congress may cause further delay and strife for those they employ, but they too are incapable of starting a war.
ICE is completing a mission.
The governors and their minions fomenting obstruction and skirmish will be brought to bare.
Or let them try and start a war. The fight will ensue on legal grounds and they will be exposed.

Is Timmah really wanting to deal or is he stalling for time? I don't see where he has a hole card to deal with in this one.

Trump is known for being a deal maker. Give him half of what he wants and you can get a lot in return.

All Walz has to do is say he'll allow ICE to pick up illegals and he'll tell the mob to stand down and he's got a deal he can run home to mommy with.

One would think our resident 2A advocates would jump at the chance to defend one of their own. But apparently that's true only if they're on the same side of the political aisle. Shame.
Pretti gave up his rights when he brought his gun to a protest. Even further when he confronted Law Enforcement.

Here's the problem, the mob has grown far beyond Walz's ability to control. What Walz can do is order the state police and the NG to begin crowd control while ICE does there job.

In other words it's a crowd control problem and the Feds have very little training in that skill.

On the bright side what the Feds ARE good at is identification and rolling up individuals. And THAT is what has these Communists, and that's exactly what they are, spooked now that their comms network was infiltrated.

I think Walz is scrambling like a mad bastard to find an offramp the Feds will allow him to take. Otherwise he's going to get Blagojeviched, if he's very lucky and doesn't get the death penalty for treason/sedition, and he knows it.

His Lt. Gov is toast. There's no offramp for her and she's going to spend a few years in Club Fed. Stick a fork in Frey as well as the City Chief of Police because they're both done too.
You should ask a lawyer about evidence, charges, prosecutions, and convictions.

It's a lot to take in but with a lot of hard work, you might finally comprehend it before you shuffle off this mortal coil.

The mob created by trump invading Minnesota with armed masked mall cops is the governor's fault?

Really, though. You're inhabiting a syphilis-induced fever dream. Lay off the Franzia and take a nap.

Morale is plummeting among ICE agents over long hours, quotas and public hatred: reports

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...le-reports-minneapolis-shooting-b2907742.html
Morale is “plummeting” among federal law enforcement officers tasked with carrying out the Trump administration’s aggressive anti-immigration operation, as they complained that long hours, ambitious arrest quotas and hatred from the public, according to reports.

While officers at Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Patrol, overseen by the Department of Homeland Security, said they supported the administration’s goal of deporting undocumented migrants, many of them have grown “disillusioned” with the tactics being implemented by leadership.

More than 20 current and former immigration officials told The New York Times of their discontent in the hours following the fatal shooting of 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti by a federal agent in Minneapolis.

You obviously do not understand the 2nd Amendment or how the states apply the Federal laws within their jurisdictions.
If you own a gun or even have your states permit for it, you lied when you signed your name for it.
It's legal in the state of Minnesota to have a firearm while protesting. And Pretti did not confront any officers; he was attacked, beaten, and murdered.

So you are saying he was pepper sprayed for nothing. Yea. OK. Go with that. haha How about the Darwin Award winner today? Did you see her? hahaha medic medic! Ahhhh OMG

Not a 2nd amendment issue.

Pretti was in violation of state law, not federal.

He acted stupidly in a highly charged and chaotic situation. As a licensed CCW carrier you are instructed that when in contact with law enforcement you immediately announced that you are armed and have no intention of taking any offensive action. Then you follow any instructions the officer may give you. What you do NOT do is run your mouth and become confrontational.

Pretti obviously decided that he was be some sort of alpha dog in a situation where he had exactly zero chance of prevailing. Once the confrontation degenerated into a physical scuffle, with a firearm involved, the eventual out come was damn near preordained. There is mounting evidence of an accidental discharge after Pretti's gun was discovered which cascaded into his death. No, it was not the accidental discharge itself that caused his death but the reaction of the agents to the sound of the shot AFTER one of the agents announced, "Gun, gun, gun" as they are trained to do. The crowd that had gathered harassing the agents was also contributory to the final outcome. Their noise making presence elevated the agents adrenaline levels as well as introducing the possibility/probability of miscommunication.

These agents carry out their arrest without fanfare or controversy thoughout the great majority of the nation. The problems occur in those jurisdictions where the politicians, local or state, believe that they can nullify federal law. And that is precisely what happened in the Southern states leading up to the Civil War. If you think it's ugly now you have no idea how bad it can get.

Bringing closure to the jury duty.

I was shit canned early in the process. Double murder and arson. I knew the case in generality from the news when the crime occurred. Fairly standard outline, drug deal gone bad, killed the buyers and set the car on fire in an attempt to cover his ass. The authorities had him pretty much dead to rights, DNA, cell phone, small brain, big mouth.

So there he is in the court room, all cleaned up and looking 'presentable.' His suit just couldn't hide the tattoos that were apparent from his collar, over the top of his shaved head, and over his face. Obviously Hispanic and just as obviously a gang banger.

So early on in voix dire the question was asked as to whether anyone knew the defense team or the defendant? So, I raised my hand and when I got the microphone I said, "I don't know the defendant but I can read his tattoos, would the court like to hear what they symbolize?" Needless to say the defense couldn't excuse me for cause fast enough. There is no way any responsible defense team was going to let me on that jury. Fine by me.

He's going to be found guilty and the only variable is going to be the sentence. I wasn't interested in wasting a week of my time, the time allotted for the trial, for this case even though I could have bluffed my way on. BUT I think I managed to poison the jury pool with the statement that got me evicted.

All I'm interested in now is the verdict.
