Watching Porn at work

This just reminded me of the early days of internet at work. Our computer guy (we didn't have the name IT yet in our vocabulary) had to work on the big boss's computer. He found tons of porn and many viruses. The old guy couldn't deny it- he was the only one to ever touch his computer.

Many years ago, I used to chat at work. Sex chat. Cybersex. I had a separate private PC for this of course. Got me through a lot of long days.

On a normal forestry gig we are 3-6 people spending 2-5 days together in close quarters, eating, working and sleeping in close proximity.
Yes, people watch porn, but discreetly. Yes, people jerk off in the porta-loos during lunch-break (and I guess every other break) and in shower and their bunks off-hours, also discreetly.

Two "IT" stories.

I worked at a place and like most young places, the engineers end up being the IT guys.
Well the boss/owner of the company came in. Brought his home (desktop) computer in. His son was the primary user and said it was running real slow.
My colleagues looked around and then opened the recycle bin. Apparently the owner's kid was smart enough to delete the content, but dumb enough not to empty the recycling bin. They burned a full DVD worth - mostly pictures and short videos.

I worked another place years later. The previous IT guy had gotten canned. He was running a porn site from work and asked a pregnant co-worker if she wanted to be featured on his site (well pregnant women).

My companies computers were very strict and you could not watch porn.

It got so ridiculous, that one of the mechanical guys could not source a ball cock for a toilet, due to the words being blocked.

I scroll through porn and chat and play at work. I’ve been doing that for years and met some great people along the way.

It’s a great way to relieve stress 😏

Look at lit during the day on my phone and the when I'm alone I will watch videos on youporn.

Does anyone like to watch Porn at work to help pass the time? What do you like to watch?

I'm currently watching a thick n curvy blonde milf suck the cock of her sons friend while her husband is sleeping in the next room.
I worked IT for over 20 years, we would remotely log into peoples computers to install software, troubleshoot etc. we could see what people were looking at and you'd be surprised at how many were looking at porn

The organisation I worked for totally banned it as well the use of gaming sites. There was frequent monitoring and people were warned, but I cannot remember anybody actually getting dismissed.

When I was still working (retired now), I know of a couple of employees that were fired for spending too much time on the internet when they should have been working. IT monitored usage time more than content. Those found to spend too much time on none work related sites were first counseled then fired if corrective action did not follow the counseling. I don't recall anyone being fired for content alone.

For my part I traveled extensively to client sites to support stand-alone flight simulators. My "office" was a trailer set-up adjacent to the simulators. I would bring up the simulators in the morning and retreat to the trailer to await being called in the event of problems. At the end of the training day, I'd bring the system down. The trailer was equipped with a project provided hot spot for use with my work laptop, and I traveled with my own hot spot as well as my own laptop. While I was waiting for something to break many hours were spent on-line. If memory serves me, there may have been a bit of porn viewed in the mix, as well as hundreds of hours spent "flying" the simulator when it was not otherwise in use.

It was a government contract, so thank you taxpayer for supporting my travels.
