Nevertheless, there is a financial goal I am working hard to achieve and every spare penny is going towards it. So, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, doesn't matter, I don't want to spend the $70 (which is the going rate in my town as far as I can tell). Luckily, Daddy doesn't have a preference..he likes me either way. For now though, I am sticking with the Magic powder.

I used to get waxed all the time - once a month at least, year round. I'd still be doing it if Daddy could afford it, I was getting it done for em so e paid for it. Eir financial situation changed, though, and I could only keep it up for a little while.

I recommend an advil before a brazilian wax, personally. Netzach's cocktail sounds like a good idea, but it's not always feasible.

As for liking it...I wouldn't say I ever liked it, mostly because I am shy around strangers. It didn't affect me much though, I have had waxers say "wow, you are so quiet, doesn't it hurt?" before.

Advil ALWAYS before a waxing. It helps keep swelling and redness down aside from numbing the pain. drink or two helps as well - but then I can't concentrate on breathing if I'm too fitshaced.

Tea tree oil also numbs the area.

I also breathe through it while the strip is being ripped off my skin. Makes the pain more tolerable. I did the same thing while getting my tattoo - just became very good at meditative breathing. Though, I do make the occasional scream.

I found the labia hurt the worst. Or maybe the ass.... hmm.... usually the first strip is the hardest, but after that, I remember what I'm in for and work through it better.

I'm glad you've found a way to relax as much as possible during the waxing. That sounds like excellent work! I need to learn to relax a lot more in general.

I thought of having two thorny vines sprouting from the rose tattooed up my lower belly delicately circling around my navel, mostly for the purpose of covering an old appendix scar.

Okay, I have a new question that I think fits here, and one that's concerned me a bit.....Has anyone gotten wet while being waxed? Something that you really couldn't just pass off? Being totally nude and fully exposed doesn't bother me in the slightest. I do get shy when nude infront of a stranger, but not really embarrassed and I can still take directions well, but if while that wax was being ripped off I found myself becoming a little....too excited that would embarrass me. And when I get aroused I'm pretty much a faucet. Is this a lay back and think of England moment?

[begin-hijack=shank]I had my pube tattooed also. It was very interesting how the sensation could go from lovely little pricks to HOLLYSHITSAFEWORD in a fraction of a second. I have several other tattoos and no other sart of my body has such a wide verity of responses to the ink needle as my mound. I have one vine going up to my navel and at the point my mound ends and my lower tummy starts was the most excruciating, even more so the area where my dick starts. And I do not regret any of it at all.

The bikini line was the worst bit by far, I really liked the down the sides and have the stray hairs plucked out. If you can cope with the bikini line I am sure the rest would be ok.

Then again I have really liked the pain of the tattoos I have had.
The first few seconds were horrible but after that it was easy to relax into the feeling.
The first one I had a part of the black line went onto my shoulder, now THAT hurt like a bitch, the others have been nice.
I really like the colouring in part of having a tattoo it is relaxing.
I would like a new tat put over the old one, but that is supposed to hurt a great deal, so not sure how much courage (and cash) I need before doing that.

Etoile ~ As I discovered it is difficult to be shy when you are laid flat on your back, legs akimbo lol.

coy_one ~ i have used meditative type breathing during pain sessions with him and I would recommend it everytime, have also use meditation techniques when he has done things I have hated

It was cool in the respect that although she/the artist covered my bottom parts with a sheet, my exhibitionist self got a few cheap thrills lying there semi-exposed. I really should get the rest of it done...now that I think of it. It's a great attention grabber too, espacially when I've been hung naked during a public scene.....smiles. It's actually my third tattoo, all done after I turned 35. Better late than never, I always say...

Just a thought - and I've done zero research so take this as you will - but salons/spas have to get their equipment and supplies from somewhere. Perhaps someplace like Sally Beauty Supply. (They are a wholesaler and I know of several free-lance hairdressers that get their supplies there.) It would probably require some initial investment, but at $70 a session in a salon it would pay for itself quickly.

Just a thought.

I just moved from Galveston, TX to Northern Virginia and I can say from experience that where you live makes a huge impact on how much you pay for things - especially for services. Most salon items (cuts, perms, waxes, massages, etc.) in Virginia cost at least twice what they did in Galveston. Another example is the full detailing of a car (down to Q-Tipping the crevices in the doors) for a whopping $25 - in Galveston. That level of service costs upwards of $80 in Northern Virginia.

Now if I could just earn what I do here and spend what I did there.....

I had very similar feelings while getting mine. The artist is a lesbian and we are members of the same play community. We had seen each other naked and playing at parties but creating that tattoo placed her very close to my "equipment". I made up a "parts" cover from an old sock that I used during each of the 6 settings it took to finish the full torso tattoo.
