What makes a voice sexy to you? Feel free to shout out the sexy voices here.

I have to say I have a strong preference for non-American accents. I can’t think of any of those that I don’t really like, though British in particular are great.

Other than that, a deeper voice is always nice, but any voice that’s smooth and confident is sexy.

I love voices and accents. I think you always like an accent you dont have. And I always felt my accent was boring. Nonexistent.
But I've had some very lovely compliments about my voice. Both from people here and in the UK - I think my voice sounds good recorded. Maybe that is it?

I wish I sounded more exotic.

I think what makes it sexy is what makes most things sexy. Confidence without arrogance. Humour. Showing interest. Not trying too hard.

I haven't heard loads of people speak recently.

And I like the northern England accents here.

I was just thinking about the old voice crew..I popped my head in the voice thread earlier but too intimated to try and jump in again.. plus I don’t have the same privacy anymore.

Not only do accents tell us where we are from or what culture we might have grown up in, but voices bring about the emotions we go through every single day. I grew up speaking Spanish first and then learned English so I could be my family's translator. I've always found the British and Australian accents quite interesting - serving with soldiers from both countries was a pleasure, especially when they would invite us to join them at chow.

@Wand3rlust, your accent is beautiful. Your emotions and thoughts flow so smoothly when you speak - something I truly love.

I can thicken my accent but, unfortunately I can't get rid of it. Some words and some emotions just bring it out even further. And Spanglish? That really comes out when I'm either really happy or really upset.

I don’t know that I know. I do know that hearing someone’s excitement is sexy . And I know I always laugh at myself for how unconsciously I lower my voice when I’m switching from purely playful banter to sexy banter. It’s objectively ridiculous and yet…

This is a tough question for me to answer because I can’t put into words what makes a voice sexy. It’s like I know when I hear it kind of thing.

I do enjoy voices a lot and love listening to audio clips. I am not a big fan of my own voice though. Who is right?

Accents play a role I suppose but more than accents is the style of delivery. Clear pronunciation, a nice steady smooth delivery and use of inflection.

I don’t know. Now I’m going to have to think about it for the rest of the day
