What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Yeah, I wonder wtf too. The remember she has no car or license. 🤣🤣🤣
Kids these days...
Can you please share a story of why he's not the brightest?

My favorite dumb guy story is Kevin
Weirdly, my mom told me once that she was considering naming me Kevin. Or Amanda if I was a girl. I didn't know how to feel about that

First, let me say Ohh my fucking god!

Well an example would be this past weekend. He lives with his mom and got the bright idea while out to call and ask if my daughter was there to which his mother said no, I think she left. So what does he do, even though she is still showing to be there at his house? He believes his mom instead of calling or texting my daughter to directly ask her. She overslept her alarm and ended up late for work that night.

Oh my! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I'm a teacher and I have seen a lot of this. Not all in one student, though. And I have never received a check for tuition. I have had to get several kids out of another class, had to get a kid removed because he was wanted for murder (was in the newspaper that morning), had a kid run away from me and run into the door, had a mom tell us she couldn't figure out how to have consequences and when a teacher suggested taking away video games, she said that was his and she couldn't do that. The teacher then said does he pay for the electricity, and she looked at him confused. He stood up and walked out of the meeting at this point. I stayed to hear more when she continued to brag about his gaming set up and all the stuff he had. I could go on, but it gets sad.

Kevin's story made me laugh! I'm feeling like a horrible person for laughing though. Thanks

Now I've got that 70's tune in my head...

Shower dancing
swaying to the music
No one else... to catch my fall.... 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for that wrong-lyric earworm! 🤣
True. @deefalttwunnyfor should save that for on stage, with the pole. Where he can charge all you thirsty ladies a suitably capitalist cover charge and two drink minimum.
Here I was trying to save his embarrassment and modesty for when the paramedics arrive! 🫣

Kevin is arguably my favorite story on the internet. Half of me says there's no way that someone is that out of touch with reality. But then the other half says that it is entirely possible. Which is terrifying

My favorite is the kids who graffiti and sign it, then wonder how we know who made it.

Being a hopeless romantic sucks ass.
Maybe ... but at least it means you have actual feelings
Hopeless romantic right here too..
Shame all my romantic feelings were wasted on someone who didn't give a rats ass
Anyhoo... moving right along..🙄

IKR? It rules!
I should elaborate. I was just telling my daughter about Pandora's box. Despair, Agony, Suffering, all come out of the box but the last thing is Hope. Without that, there's no reason to go on. So never give up hope. That romance is out there, you just have to find it.

Fucking A right.

I mean don’t tell her that.

I mean, I guess. My daughters turned out all right. But YMMV

Roger Zelazny, dealing with a spine-breaking week of loss, wrote, "But Not the Herald," a short story about Pandora's box, with the worst of the ills being "Hope." Hope is the one that will truly shatter your heart.

He wrote three stories that night, all his most dark.
