I feel the same way about people who say cooking a steak “ruins” it. Nothing ruins a good steak faster than some asshole telling me how mine should be cooked!
(I do prefer my pasta al dente, but we can just scoop mine out while yours continues to cook 😜)
at a steak house, i tell them to burn it...i cook my 1lb ribeyes in the air fryer at 350 for an hour...it becomes beef bacon and renders all the fat...soooo delicious....but we know i have issues, so take it with a grain of salt. 🤭

I can't even fathom what that would end up like, but I know you well enough by now to at least try it.

I normally can’t deal with the texture of fat (it literally makes me gag), unless you cook the fuck out of it like bacon. I do like my bacon extra crispy and steak a bit between seared and burnt on the outside and no pink inside though. Well-marbled steaks are wasted on me, I just end up trimming all the fat off. 🫣

air fried like that, low and slow, the fat is like crispy bacon.
