Watched a couple halves of movies today
Finished up the New Naked Gun with Liam Neesom. It's okay, has its moments, and Neesom does a good job, but let's see if it's worth making a follow-up. Can't say Pamela Anderson has aged well. If I didn't know from the posters and the opening credits, I wouldn't have known it was her. Mediocre at best.
Next, I watched the first half of what turned out to be a second viewing of Solomon Kane. It's okay, as I don't remember that much. Good performances, especially from James Purefoy in the title role, but this sorcerer/evil demon bullshit is soooo long in the tooth now. This is as good as just about anything else in this tired genre.

A second viewing of The Protege starring the amazing Maggie Q. It's not that old, so I was surprised how fresh it felt, even with plenty that was familiar. It moves fast, has great action, and, of course, Maggie. Awesome!

The Tomorrow War
I know I watched this, but I must have fallen asleep, as the second half was completely new to me.
Time travel is always dicey, but the logic held together for a good narrative, with plenty of action and a very real emotional appeal. Loved it!
