What do you know....without any help?

Arcana regarding a specific computer network I ran for more than a decade - which no longer exists.

Far too many 'security' standards/specs/recommendations (but by no means all of them! They grow faster than kudzu, algae, or fungus...)

Specific weird business practices in some segments of federal and state government consultants used to meet the just plain insane regulations and maximize returns.

My wife's useless specialty is 80's hair metal song lyrics. No matter how obscure the band is I'll dig up, she knows them and will come up with most of the song out of nowhere.

Viking and Anglo-Saxon history - particularly political/military, but not solely.

Bed coverings.

Specifically bed cover migration patterns.

Where I live, there are usually two layers, three in winter, four if one of us has the flu or covid.

I have become an expert on sheet shear forces, sometimes unpredictable patterns in upper coverings movement, with triangulated combinations and differences between covering material and surface texture, the unilateral direction of covering drift (always to the other side of the bed). Cat presence can sometimes serve as a movement vector.

Geography. I can free-hand draw a map of the US with accurate state borders and the locations and names of capitals, major cities, rivers, mountain ranges, and major highways in a lot of it. Pretty good with other parts of the world too.

The night sky and a lot of associated stuff. I can often name a (northern) constellation or a planet from a couple of stars and the time of year. People are surprisingly ignorant of the stuff that happens routinely over their heads

The Wars of the Roses, The Last of Us game series and Liverpool Football Club from the early 2000s on.

My brain is filled with music and tabletop RPG trivia. Also, I can tell you a ton of useless facts about all of the Transformers toys I own. :) Speaking of robot toys - I can transform every one without referring to the instructions. Not a small feat considering I have around 200 of the buggers, from the '80s to current stuff.

But ask me for a single phone number and I turn into a panicked deer.

I'm a bit of a history buff anyway, but I did so much research on the Titanic to write my story 'Bad Things Happen on April 15' earlier this year that the lost ship could definitely be my special subject on a TV quiz show.

You've been challenged to a trivia contest, or perhaps called out to display an area of expertise. The catch is, this is what you know, you can't use Google, or Wiki, or check any sources. This is all what you have learned about a particular topic over time. Can be anything, but I'd like people to answer more along their hobbies or sports, music, etc...

What's your subject you could kick people's ass in?

My answer would be
Comics-but specifically 30's to around the year 2000, I've soured on most mainstream comics the last twenty or so years.
Horror movies/books/shows etc..
Baseball/Football, but again with a timeline, haven't watched much baseball the last five or so years, and swore off football for personal reasons a couple years back. But I followed both for 40 or so years
Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. I know nothing about older D&D.

Back in the '60s I read just about the entire Collier's Encyclopedia so my head is full of old useless knowledge ...
