Mainly curiosity …. Always heard there was a difference . My mom made it both ways and my dad always liked the cooked banana pudding . I could never get past the stringiness and varying textures of bananas to ever try either lol

So I think I’ve had the cooked version chilled. It has a stronger banana flavor. I prefer the cold pudding mixed with cream cheese and whipped cream with chess cookies on top.
