What feeds your soul?

When my oldest son and only daughter in law call me and tell me that they are 7.5 weeks pregnant with child #2..... I'm gonna be a grandma again!!!!

Excellent news! :)

Sometimes things happen at exactly the right time. I just got an e-mail that made me very loved.

The very special people here, there, and everywhere whom I call friends, feed my soul tonight.

Thanks all!! I'm very excited! Hoping for a girl this time so I have one of each, but I will be just as happy with "healthy"!

Having only a granddaughter after having sons, I can tell you it's wonderful...but healthy of course is most important. Enjoy.

WFMS: Knowing that I have people on Lit, and in real life who support me every step of the way.

Random conversations that teach me about someone or something when I least expected it. :)

It's been a while since I updated on LF's progress.
Midway through the week he passed the two kilo mark, he really started getting the hang of feeding.
From Thursday Poss started staying in for extra feeds and they started bottle feeding him when she wasn't there, I think he gets the bottle bit too, the notation on his chart was "Looking for food, guzzled entire bottle." They are pretty happy about that seeing as how he kept pulling his feeding tube out.
On Fri they removed his feedng tube and all the tape from his face, so he is all sparkly clean, so I am told, I haven't seen him for two days.
Poss will be rooming in this weekend with the aim of him coming home on Mon, although one of the midwives said don't be suprised if they let him go Sunday because he feeds so well.
Added a few photos to his online album ( about 80 or so  ).

I've been feeling crap and really down the last few days, writing about my little man has helped to lift my spirits somewhat. :)

Awesome news quoll! I'm so happy to hear how well he is progressing. He will be home in no time!

*grins* If competition will ever stop...

What fed my soul last night was watching our band cheerfully congratulate and comment on the other bands' wins/performances at the competition last night without prompting. We only took third in our division this time, but it was still a cheerful bunch on the way home.

((edit)) btw...if anyone wants to listen....this is our band at practice :D

WFMS is visiting the city that was my home for almost 20 years...where I went to university, married, raised my sons *ok divorced too but that's a faint memory :)* Enjoying the drive down the highway...seeing the gorgeous fall colours...visiting old haunts...my alma mater...my kids' first public school...the houses we lived in. It's a gorgeous city...comfortable too.

Tomorrow is the Canadian Thanksgiving...I'm feeling very thankful.

Wicked Woman, I love the Margaret Cho quote in your signature.

What feeds my soul is cats purring, yoga, hiking up mountains and long hours of nothing but kissing.

I know I am late in saying this...but that's wonderful news, Quoll. Let us know when he gets home. Little feet...I just love that nickname. Too cute, Mr. Q. Too cute. :D

Leah57: Congratulations!
