I can't speak Italian but I've got the raspy breathing down pat

An acquaintance who knew a Gaelic speaker said it sounded as if she was almost singing the language when she was speaking it.
My grandma spoke it as her native language... I was too young to remember any though.

Oh God! It's beautiful. Sends shivers down my spine. Funny thing is I never thought about Gaelic as a romance language until I heard it. Have to admit I am completely hooked now. [laughs]
