What Made You Smile/Laugh Today?

Was at home 2.0 this morning waiting for the laundry to finish and doing home work when I hear the distinct sound of one of the dogs peeing on a bookshelf. It was one of "mine" and the little monster had just been outside for a full 30 minutes! I swear he did it intentionally.

I gave him a very stern look, repeatedly said "bad" to him, and didn't cuddle him for the rest of the time I was there. After cleaning it up mind you. When I left I didn't give him rubs and loves and say goodbye like I normally do either.

I got a text tonight from Mr. saying what ever I had done to the little guy sure worked. He knew he was in trouble, and didn't make a peep all night. *giggles*

I told him I did what would be the worst punishment for me, I ignored him. "My" dogs are so matched to my personality.

I had a fabulous day!
It started off .... looking like a long dreary work day.
I have a new hire, she's completely adorable. We work well together!

Then one of my clients came to see me. She was ecstatic! Out of over 7000 enteries at my store, I convinced her to entry a draw to win a $1000 shopping spree. And she won!!!
Actually did the whole jump up and down squee with her lol.
Then hubby surprised me at work, took me for lunch, THEN 2 of my bestest buddies were there too.

Top it off with a consult for a mom for her 15 year olds birthday, were she left so happy, I am sure they'll be back again soon.

Epic smiley day!!!

But did you laud him for his acrobatic skills?

Made a huge artistic stretch today and it worked!!!! I'm soooo happy dancing! I tried not one, but TWO new-to-me techniques and nailed them both the first time. There's still room for finessing, but that's what the fun is all about!

Tsk, tsk, tsk...the fire will make it very challenging to take good pics with clarity and definition.

Oh, and bravo on getting #2 out into the world.

Soooo...

after naked cartwheeling for K, ;) I found out that the towns "family farm" owned since 1632, is being sold...

to someone who wants to keep the farm going!!!!

Squeee!!! :D

It was an absolutely glorious day. Crystal water. Sun. Bass. Egrets. Lazy dog. A dragonfly rode for a mile on my thigh. Where was he going? When he zipped away, did he miss his friends?

Humans evolved in nature. We need it.

How was your hike?

How did I miss this? Sorry...

The hike was gloriously rejuvenating.

Why is it that I always find a spot in the woods that I could just plunk my rear down on and say, "Done! I'm living right here." Nowhere else has ever made me feel so tranquil and serene. Even when I was a little kid, I would just run to the forest and stay there for hours.

I was unexpectedly fired on Tuesday
I cleaned house Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
(It hasn't been this peaceful and tidy in months.)
Tonight I started a piece of art.
(I haven't don't that in years.)

Funny how happy uncertainty can be...

MY SECOND BOOK IS OUT!! :D:D:D:D

Commence the naked cartwheeling whilst on fire!!!

I just ordered my electronic (Kindle) copy :D and it's downloading now... oops, it's downloaded. Now all I need to do is finish the book I'm reading, re-read the first Warp World to get my brain properly warped, and then read "Renegades."

:: happy dance ::

(And no, you do NOT want to see me dancing, whether it's a happy dance or otherwise!)

All the best results of everything... but you already knew that, right? :rose:

Amazing alchemy. :rose:

Now for that vintage lingerie empire that's been beckoning.

"I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent
to what others get by churchgoing and prayer.
I come home to my solitary woodland walk as the homesick go home.
I thus dispose of the superfluous and see things as they are,
grand and beautiful."

Fine company!

I had an awesome dream, in which I talked about economy and it made perfect sense, people actually listened. AND I wore Super Mario Bros. socks and made fresh squeezed blood orange juice while doing it.

Witnessing some good friends get recognition for their skills and service. It's almost always a surprise and often long overdue.

Nephew: Tomorrow is Daddy's birthday.

Me: Yup. How old is he going to be?

N: As old as mommy.

Me: Wow. Is that really old?

N: I dunno.

Me: What is really old?

N: I dunno.

Me: How 'bout 44 (the same age K is), is that really old?

N: I think they'll be dead by that old.

My Niece who will be 2 in 3 days. She wanted to talk to me but I missed the call so on the voicemail her mom is telling her to say Hi and I love you and she was throwing a fit because it was my voicemail and not me so She would yell no then say Hi then yell no and say I love you. Then Call me back!

The little girl has so much attitude, but I love her to pieces.
