What pissed you off today? Mark III

I got stood up. Okay, he had the decency to let me know he isn’t going to show up, but he did so about 10 minutes before we were supposed to meet, so I think that counts as getting stood up. Jesus Christ.

I went to a museum and a pub instead after reading the message. Got a little bit tipsy and drowned my sadness. It was a good plan b, but plan a would have been nicer.

I hate people, good reminder. No more people.

Boooooo...that was shitty of him. I'm sorry that happened to you!

It was. 😔

I’ve had two dates this summer, because I’ve been wanting to meet new people. One didn’t show up (if it even counts as a date in that case. Doesn’t really, I suppose.) and the other kept talking about his dead mother. Yay.

The sad thing is that I’ve been talking with these people for a long time before deciding to meet. My people radar is clearly useless.

Okay, I also had a third date but it was something else, not really anything that could become a long-er term, more regular thing which is what I’m after. That date was very, very nice.

People insisting that "My landlord" allowed them to park across my driveway and in it, too.

When I formulate brilliant essays in my mind, real “Ask not what your country” shit, Then when I sit down to write, what leaks out of my brain is “can’t we all just be nice, mkay?”

I worry about my future

When students believe that absolutely everything is subjective even at the university level. No dear, your poorly written work is not good. Your opinion on the matter is not relevant (nor neutral). It's supposed to be at a university level.

I was brought to lunch today by a company with whom we work closely, went to a local fish fry place. We couldn't order, the company called ahead and had the food ready when we sat. I don't like fish, won't eat it. I had the rest of the food and left the fish alone. One of those who ordered asked why I wasn't eating, "You a vegetarian?"

He got upset when I told him that I do NOT like fish, told me that EVERYONE likes fish. Another one told him, "See, told you! NOT everyone likes fish!"
