Thank you! In a happy turn of events it was just a bit O mother board static that required a heavier handed reboot and now I am back up and running! Whew! I got a talking to that I really need to stop dragging it accross my bed sheets.

Maybe I should be shameful at just how dependent I am on technology for all sorts of life stuffs... But I'm not. I am just grateful to have what I need. So very grateful.

The Real Problem With Kids

Sitting at my desk, I over hear a conversation between my supervisor and two other part time employees. They are talking about how their children are having problems in school with asignments and attitudes.
Mind you, the two part time employees, have full time positions in the SCHOOL DISTRICT.
One part timer chimes in that her daughter was not handing her work in, she said to her daughter, and I quote
" I's told her she wunnit gonna sit up dere and tell her teach wut she is and ain't gonna do..'
The other pops up with, 'That wut wrong wid dese chilleren, they don't know nothing bout respect.'
Then my supervisor puts her two cents in,'That and duh parents don't teach em the rights and wrongs bout livin' instead they put dem on all dose medicines.'

Would anyone like to tell me, what exactly is wrong with that story? Or can we all just agree that ignorance runs amuck in my office?
I know the south is known for having it's own version of the english language, but come on. These women are teachers [Jefferson County] and parents.
