What to wear to bdsm club?

I used to frequent one in London wearing a black latex skater dress that I still have and still fit into plus high heels and black satin or velvet elbow gloves. I can't recall what fabric as they ended up really messy and got thrown one night. Black velvet suits for guys were superb but uncommon, but they did look amazing in the right lighting.
