Whatever Happened To...

I have had the life sucked out of me lately, but ever since they said that they had me on an exit path, I have felt like me again. And now this meeting yesterday has me so excited about possible outcomes. If I could get my costumes stable enough, I would go to school full time and just do costume work, finish my degree and hop the pond. but then there may be a completely different future ahead of me and I could even be finishing my degree in Ireland.

Such a bright shining future ahead of me. I feel it.

This all sounds great wenchie, so much to be positive about

I still wander through Lit now and then but rarely post.

I am single and celibate, have been for two years. It suits me for now

I have moved house a couple of times in last couple of years to other ends of the country. I like where I am, so will stay awhile.

I should get involved in the local scene, Manchester Uk has a really active scene but have been work focused since moving north, maybe in the summer I will venture there.

Other than that, same old same old

Less 'shy' and more 'hmm I have nothing to add to this conversation' I do wander through your thread and wince a great deal less than I did, your pics have changed or over time you have made me immune..... The thought of some of the now vanished early pics still make me wince, there is one in particular I still mentally see through half closed eyes

Has anyone seen @Rebecca and Keroin? both seem to have vanished

@Rebecca dropped in for a brief visit a few weeks ago. Keroin drops by periodically but she is only recently home from a four-month off-the-grid journey into Mexico.

Less tolerance, that is a shame. I have always seen these boards in Lit as the last bastion of freedom to post whatever you damn well wish. Even if it is viewed through half a hand and screwed up eyes

She was mentioned in a Talk thread, just moments after I thought of her in relation to *this* thread. A great regular here until she faded away... I miss A Desert Rose a *lot.* I wish she would drop in here once in a while, if for no other reason than to say, "Hi."

I know Homburg's on FB at least periodically, since YK tells me every now and then about something he's posted there. Don't know why he's been away from here so long. Miss his POV on a lot of stuff, though.

EG appears to have moved almost permanently to FetLife. Based on the posts I see there, he's still very active in his local scene.

I never got into fet life, didn't have the same feel as here.

Yes, met her in person and she is very sweet. Her politics are totally cray but I'm quite sure she thinks the same of mine.
