Currently listening to an interview with Stanley Tucci describing the food he ate growing up, while also listening to my stomach growl. But I think my pantry is down to one last can of Bush baked beans and half a bag of rice. Time to improvise. Here, kitty, kitty!
I do that - google food while starving. It's madness isn't it? You just end up contemplating a bowl of cereal before ordering a curry
Pre-Covid that would have sounded so much worse...

Pre-Covid that would have sounded so much worse...
Har! Exactly! I wake up most mornings debating time-consuming breakfast options, but this morning I gave up and just had a bowl of oatmeal instead. Now I'm gorging myself on the omelet I deprived myself of ealier.
But I do always try to make a point of eating before I go the grocery store--otherwise, my cart looks like I'm feeding a family of six.

That my dear is the crux of the problem. I've got plenty in - even have some eggs that need to be used up. I just can't be arsed to cook when other people can provide me (us) with so many different exotic foodstuffs. And all in exchange for a few pounds...
