My slave sleeps in a kennel at night, affixed in place by bicycle chain secured to various metal hoops that pierce her calves, thighs, back and forearms.

I sleep in our bed, but I must suckle when he first gets into bed. I am permitted to fall asleep in this position but I must not stop unless he tells me I can.
I have a desire to be bound in the bed in some way but it is the safety (get out quick) bit that worries me. He gets up a couple of hours before me and it would either mean him having to remove my bonds before he leaves or making them pseudo restraints that I could remove myself. I am in no doubt if I was really bad he would happily make me sleep on the floor...with pillows and duvet but still on the floor.

Oh the joy of having one's own bedtime and getting up time...I do miss it at times, miss turning in early on a cold night with a good book, miss reading every night before sleep...for us, I go to bed when he decides it is time for us to go to bed and rise when he has to so I am able to prepare everything for his day...at the moment that means getting up very early (predawn) and going to bed very late which is all catching up with me!!

Reading this thread has been interesting. I love to sleep spooning with him behind me all night. The only time I don't toss and turn is when sleeping this way. Since I'm alone now, I sleep wrapped around a body pillow. And I either sleep nude or in just panties, even in winter. I've never been one for pajamas and when I did sleep clothed in the past it was just in t-shirts and boxers. I don't like to have my feet covered during sleep, so I often end up kicking off the covers. I'll sleep with a shirt once in awhile, when I'm missing him more. I find it hard to sleep in bed alone without him, though. The bed feels empty without him so I usually sleep on the couch. I don't sleep as well alone either, I don't feel as rested as I do after I sleep with him.

i feel the same way, which makes it hard because we are not 'together' right now, but we were together not long ago and i got used to sleeping with Him. i now sleep in His Raiders shirt that he left me, and snuggle up with 'checkers' (the teddy bear He bought me a couple of christmas's ago) and that's how i sleep, but i do sleep much better when He's beside me with His arms wrapped around me

I assure you, it is not. The Sanctuary of a Dark Angel in Atlanta had three kennels under the jail cell room and I can personally vouche for them being used for all night stays for pups...

Yes of course there will be someone out there who confesses this is a part of their 'lifestyle' . As far as 'are chained to the wall or bed' I can see this as far more likely however I would hasten to add that such practises have very specific dangers if the pyl has not the ability to self release in an emergency situation.

janey frequently sleeps wearing an ankle cuff and length of chain attached to the bed. For a while it was almost nightly as she as having problems with sleep walking and sleep eating. The chain pulling her up short would wake her up sufficiently to either come back to bed or at least make a conscious decision about where she was going and what she was eating.

Well it isn't "long term" right now... but anywhere from 2 - 4 nights a week the last few weeks. We're exploring. So far though, things just feel very comfortable, very relaxed, very open. Everyone has, so far, been okay with everything we've explored, everything we've done.

I think of it this way; you are not concious when you are sleeping, so you really don't know where you are. What matters is the falling alseep and waking up part. Now, falling asleep is not really my cup of tea, but waking up next to a lovely naked woman has got to be one of the best experiences around.
