I'm from southWEST Idaho, across the state from you, and while there are a few "Rainbow" types here, I always imagined the southeast- Pocatello/Blackfoot area specifically- as being pretty sexually conservative given the heavy religious influence from Salt Lake City. I have been told, having never really spent much time there, that things in those towns are VERY segregated along religious lines- to the point where people who are affiliated with the Salt Lake City church will even boycott businesses whose owners are not, and not allow their kids to socialize with families who are not. Here in Boise where I live, I have stated on other threads how, even though there is a decently sized and visible GLBT community here, any kink/BDSM "Alternative Sexualty" folks are pretty far underground, as people in Boise tend to be rather sexually conservative as well.
