Why are my stories constantly rejected ?

The standard Literotica page, with the story confined to some 45% of the screen width (and the rest taken up by what can only be described as useless filler) does not help.

Actually, Lit pages use 80% of the screen. It's the equivalent of of setting one inch margins to produce a 6.5 inch line on an 8.5 x11 inch sheet of paper and is done for much the same reason as setting margins -- to enhance readability and reduce eye-strain by putting all of a line of text within the average field of focus for the human eye and reduce side to side eye movement.

However, Literotica has certain formatting standards as much to present a consistent "look" for the stories here as to enhance readability. The fact that the standardized format for Lit pages were chosen with readability and ease of downloding in mind isn't really relevant to the issue of a consisent site image -- which is no different than any other site imposing a standardized format on submissions so that every page on the site is instantly recognizeable as being from that site and no different from a print publisher having a standardized format for their products.
