First I do not think I can answer the question for you effectively. To submit or Dominate either one come from the pschye of the human brain and if you can figure that out you are far better than I. I gladly submit because I feel it makes me complete. I have a desire and need that I can not explain that are only answered when I submit. -I think you're looking way too deep into this. An "internal dialogue"? Listen, I personally am not into the "BDSM" and "male subservient" thing, but if you or someone else is into these things, that's fine by me, everyone is an adult here, and should be able to live their own lives. I only asked this question because I AM curious, and just wanted some responses from people who into this, and why they are. And my "defensive judgements"? I've said from the beginning that I'm not into this, but just want the viewpoint of people who are. Making judgements is more like calling someone a "sicko" or saying asking why they like such a "perverted sexual act", but I never said those things.
