Why do you allow

There is one.

Go look at the stickies.

That deals more with what to do when a story is rejected (KillerMuffin's post). Perhaps a simple sticky discerning the difference between the Volunteer Editors and the Site Editors. Hold on ... I think I wrote something for someone once ..

Here it is:

Just to clarify ....

The Editor's Forum is a place where Volunteer Editors tend to check as time and workload allows.

Those that post and respond here are people who volunteer their skills and time to help with a story prior to being posted (or to help re-work a story that has been posted) and will do copy or line editing.

We are not the editors who review the stories once they have been submitted to ensure that they meet the site requrirements, nor do we have the ability to approve/remove/alter stories. That is done by the site administrators and site editors.

I'm going to start a new thread to discuss final wording and we can ask LadyC to sticky the final version.

That's quite a kick in the ass you've given us (VE), Cant and Min; but in retrospect I think it's well deserved. :)

We, all of us, probably read too much into the threadstarter's rant and took it personally instead of seeing it for what it really was: a cry for help and some basic explanations.

Thank you for reminding me that I asked the same questions once upon a time and was thankful to have someone answer it nicely instead of biting my head off. :rose:

As I am learning all this stuff, I look into the various threads often....In doing so, I frequently see something posted by you, LadyCibelle...I find your comments to be helpfull and mostly gracious...If ya wanna be cranky now and then, go for it...lol...Thanks for being a bit of an inspiration...Phil

What's putting you off? Running around naked in the EF or singing La Scala at the top of your lungs? :p

I seem to remember a collective alcoholized running around the EF naked and singing...

Oh, that was just some dream of mine? Nevermind then.
