I'm going to give my professional opinion on the matter, as I am a Certified Massage Therapist. It is in NO way uncommon in the profession to have both men and women proposition the MT for "happy ending". The biggest difference is that it is more noticeable (obviously) with Men. This is actually something we covered on in school (most only cover men and what to do). Massage is a very intimate experience for both the therapist and client.

One thing to remember is that in every state it is illegal to touch a client sexually (even though it happens on a regular basis) and is grounds for losing ones license/certification, not to mention any criminal charges that can be brought up against the MT. The ethics are VERY cut and dry on the issue, as are the legal issues.

Now all that said, there is a reason it does happen and happen frequently. Because it's HOT! And the money is VERY good. I have not personally be in any situation (other than Role Play in my ethics class) where I've had to deal with more than seeing a clients breasts. Not saying I would or wouldn't do anything, just not had the situation present it's self.


On a side note, in the US we're Massage Therapist. Masseuse/Massesure are basically French versions of Physical Therapist. We don't have the training to use the title. (Everywhere but Ohio have >1000 hours training to be certified).


My advice, just relax and don't feel embarrassed about any reactions you have, the MT has seen it all. Don't be a creep and the MT probably wont have any kind of issue.

In the US.. every state is different. There are a few states that only require a certification without the requirement of state licensure.. and a few states that have no requirements at all.
