The ornament serves a purpose for me. My old boss made it for me. It's china white and features an angel on the front. A simple red ribbon adorned the top. Holding it in my hand helps me unwind. I remember him fondly. Always smiling, laughing, crunching on Jolly Ranchers.

((Careful my friend, we just need three words for this game. With the 50 world limit, it's more fun for us if you let us make a run at being creative with just the three. Did my best to get all seven in, but took a little shoehorning))
Grandma sipped her wine, while I belted whisky. Her cigarette stain fingers felt like leather across my hand.
“You know I love ya, Gran,” I said empty of any honesty. “But I can’t stay.”
She smiled, the lipstick stuck to her teeth. “Please, one more glass?”
I sighed, nodded, stayed.
