I think writing from the opposite gender's perspective isn't so hard if you talk to people of that gender. For example, my guy friends will give me ideas for stories - maybe a location they think would be fun, or a particular fantasy.
Reading erotica written from a male perspective has helped me learn about how it feels to penetrate, rather than be penetrated. Then it's just a question of imagination.
I think it's fun to write from both perspectives, but I've never tried flipping within one story before. Could be an interesting challenge!
